You don't need the receipt to claim warranty so as long as the serial number's recorded - and all genuine Apple products are logged via their serial number, guess it's like their IC no. *grins*

I suggest you send your iPod back to the shop soonest possible smile.gif biggrin.gif

You can send it back to any of the Apple stores to get ur problem fixed rclxms.gif so just go to the most convenient one to u, or to one which u like their customer service nod.gif
