Hi guys, I'm still considering to get a PSP. I would like to do development on the PSP.
First of all, what kind of firmware and motherboard should I get?
How does brick happen? Does it happen only when flashing the PSP firmware fails or it could even happen with some homebrews? (I don't want to suddenly brick my PSP when I'm testing out some codes)
Are there any SDK for the PSP which comes with an emulator of some sort?

Thanks Ryuuga! I'll look into Maxconsoles forum and when I've developed my own homebrew, I'll post it here.

Guys, - I have custom firmware, 3.52 M33 - lets say I have original game (UMD) which supports online play - can I play it online or will Sony block my machine since I have a customized firmware?

QUOTE(DFlo @ Aug 2 2007, 07:47 PM) Haha, you're welcome. I was a beginner (n00b) so I understand the feeling of not-knowing-something-but-still-wanna-do-it thing. Well, for fake MSPDs, there are a major problem: damn slow transfer rates. When you say slow rates... how slow is it? Are there any benchmarks for it? I wanna know if mine is fake or real...

Yes, I agree its good not to charge people, but then, if you give free upgrade to everyone, imagine how many people will come to you and ask for your help? It will cost you your time, money (electricity bills), etc. Thus, to prevent that, some people need to charge. Am I making any sense here?

Sorry, my mistake... format flash1 So, what does it actually do? Let's say if I flashed improperly, and it get semi-bricked. Can by formatting flash1 things will be like new?

Reminder: 3.60 M33 is for the Slim version. Not fatty-fatty-bom-bom... Psp cannot watch youtube.com, says the flash player is too old or javascript not enabled.

Did you guys know that... It seems that we have to wait for the 3.70 or 3.71 CFW from M33 They are taking a break because of the OE source leak and some wannabe-lame-hackers who have been pushing team M33 *ungrateful farking idiots* Source: http://www.consolespot.net/forums/showthread.php?t=470
