Wanna ask around if anyone gets real vcore value higher than BIOS set vcore value before?

I pencil modded my P5N-E SLI and I BIOS set 1.325, real gives me 1.344v, BIOS 1.3v, real 1.328v. sweat.gif

Normal? Safe?
*

Actually i think most (or many) E6600 can be o'c to 3.8GHz atleast if u know the technique brows.gif. (even my ES also can reach 2.8GHz ler, nothing special lol).
So the batch no, is not so important i think.
Neway : ) really nice result there coolice. nice nice..
*
izzit?? sweat.gif sweat.gif
my e6600 can run 3.2Ghz around 1.325v but when speed goes beyond it..
it need alot vcore doh.gif

it really depends on the batch.
some of them can really hit em up good.
i heared some can do 3.5ghz @ 1.325V.
gosh, those are holly cores.
*
nahh, i remember reading somewhere on the net there is holly e6600 can reach 3.6Ghz with stock vcore sweat.gif

QUOTE(almostthere @ Apr 26 2007, 10:23 PM)
Tell me about it. Mine does 3.2Ghz requiring 1.42v VCORE. Luckily Core temp full load within 60C using stock cooler
*
guess im lil lucky than u blush.gif

QUOTE(remysix @ Apr 27 2007, 08:17 AM)
aiseh...orthos failed on core1 after 5 hours...so back to 1.3625 i guess

do vdroop caused by PSU or MBB ?

my iCute PSU caused me can't oc my system ?

My E6600 Proc reach 88'C @ 3.2Ghz @ 1.4v running Orthos using Intel Heatsink.
normal or not ?
*
vdroop mostly caused by MoBo itself regardless using "ayamas" psu

reaching 88c with 1.4v c0oled by stock HSf very nice setup i would say

even mine using BTVX reaching the same temp when priming

for C1E, if i don't disable it, will it cause any problem in OC like instability? cuz i don't think i will run at full speed all the time (full load all the time?)
*
not quite sure, but mostly ppl will disable this feat. when overclocking
i went thru the net & ive havent yet found ppl enable it when overcloking laugh.gif laugh.gif

I think its due to that 3DMark01 isn't that compatible with Vista. Try make 3DMark01 run under XP2 compability mode see if there's any improvement or not.
*
aikkss.. lit dat ka??
but when i install the 3dmark01, there is no issue bout compatibility in vista
it can be installed just like that.. will check again so0n

QUOTE(DaRkSyThE @ May 26 2007, 08:41 PM)
probably due to the drivers or something
vista isnt friendly with benchmarking.
*
hurmm, but ive seen ppl claiming running in vista faster than XP leh
will try with latest 3dmark apps next time.. sweat.gif blush.gif
