QUOTE(dasecret @ Aug 10 2016, 10:29 AM) Did you check UOB, so far I find their spot rate is the most attractive. And for privilege banking clients the spread is smaller than published rates For published rate, UOB still lag CB. Have not called my RM in UOB, maybe should try that. OCBC seems to be even better than UOB. It is second after CB. Thinking of calling OCBC RM and see if can give even better rate. OCBC also giving away a free gift for TT >RM100k.For USD 1cent diff, it cost me RM260. |

Called UOB & OCBC RM. They offered rate better than their published rate. UOB comes very close to CB rate. Just very tiny difference with CB. So still CB better. And free TT, no TT fees for Citigold customer.

QUOTE(langstrasse @ Aug 10 2016, 11:39 AM) Hi, Telegraphic transfer. Anyway TT charges not a big amount. Free TT for Citigold customer only, can send to anyone in other countries's bank acct. What does free TT mean ? You get to do TTs to a third party account in another country in a different bank without charges ? Or is this free TT only for CB to CB account transfers ? QUOTE(KTCY @ Aug 10 2016, 01:36 PM) From this morning till now 4.0445, they have not adjusted it down after the RM appreciated this morning.QUOTE(AVFAN @ Aug 10 2016, 02:01 PM) not really. Thanks, good to know. it's usd falling after poor economic data last night. markets now factoring in <50% for rate hike by year end. every currency is up >0.5% against usd today. taiwan $ and korean won big gainers, >1% gain. same old factors - oil, rate hike, economy... for the $. |
