my router is rgx4400..do u guys think is router fault?or some settings need to be adjusted?

I have the same router (RGX4400) and have no problem with all wifi devices.
I have configured HyppTv on wifi as well. No problem on disconnection but have some buffer during night time watching.
3 mobile devices on wifi (5Ghz) - no problem
4 mobile devices on wifi (2.4Ghz) - no problem

Since still under warranty, better report and get a replacement unit.

I have the same problem too.. Did you get yours replaced?

I wonder if both silver colour  Fibre Termination Unit and rgx4400 are problematic

I have both silver color.
BTU model ONU-Huawei-HG8240W
Router model RG-Innatech-RGX4400

Running good at the moment.

I was at the restaurant that uses the RGX4400 earlier today. Did a test on 2.4Ghz. Browsing seems fine. No stalling that I can discern when loading a website. Speedtests however shows the difference between 2.4 & 5GHz. They're on UniFiBiz 100. Not many people when I was there.

Looks like 5GHz is the way forward.

300mbps TIME?

Is the 5GHz on the RGX4400? As AP only or routing as well?

Not Time.
That one was tested in Singapore.

Shouldn't be a load problem. The RGX4400 at the restaurant handles the crowd just fine. Tonight I'd estimate at least 10-15 people were on their phones. It's more crowded at lunchtime and I've never had probs. Dunno what could be wrong. The RGX4400 is 2x2 MIMO btw, i.e.: AC1200. Maybe it's their antennas.

Over the weekend we were watching shows on Iflix.
On the iPad watching 1 show and on the the HyppTv box watching another show.
Watching on the iPad is smooth, but watching on the HyppTv box buffers a lot.
Is it because the HyppTv box is not good enough to handle the connection?

This is both iFlix on iPad and iFlix on STB right? I've seen my STB iFlix buffer once a while but not very often. I think could be the wifi connection, for me anyway, because my STB is in my living room which is furthest away from my wifi router. The HyppTV box, granted, is not a very powerful box but it probably has HW video decoding so it shouldn't be a CPU problem. I'll check it out later but I believe iFlix streams are not of very high bitrates. Also possible that it's increased load on iFlix's servers since it's free again for another year.

We were watching different shows in the same room. But on different devices.
Both devices were connected to the RGX4400 router on 2.4GHz.

Past week I have some problem connecting to RGX4400 WiFi on iPhones.

At home got 2 iPhones (5 & 6S) when connected to home WiFi, got funny ip addresses.
Instead of getting 192.168.0.x I got 10.79.106.x
Only iPhones with IOS 10.3.x are affected.
Ipad with IOS9.3.5 not affected.
Android phones and tablets not affected.
Laptops not affected.

The RGX4400 router was configured with 3 SSIDs.
SSID1 - 2.4GHz for Internet
SSID2 - 5GHz for Internet
SSID3 - 2.4GHz for HyppTv

All devices were either connected to SSID1 or SSID2 for Internet access.
HyppTv Box (Huawei EC6108V8) connects to SSID3

Attached Image

Found out that HyppTv is using ip address 10.79.106.x
And iPhones while connected to SSID1 or SSID2 tends to get HyppTv ip address (as seen in the attached above).

Is this problem with the RGX4400 router or iPhones with IOS 10.3.x?

Definitely a prob with the router. Somehow SSIDs 1 and 2 are also bridged to vlan600 where the HyppTV dhcp server is.

How are the vlans configured in your rgx4400? SSID3 is a child of which SSID? Nvm, it's 2.4ghz so it's a child of ssid1.

Normally on consumer routers, by default, all wlan interfaces are bridged together. I dunno whether it can be configured otherwise in the webgui.

Does it mean that I have to abandon the HyppTv WiFi?

Hi bro. I am using this router. Apparently out of sudden, the 2.5 ghz is no longer detectable in my router. Only 5 ghz is available. Have you encounter this problem before? Sigh. Yesterday and this morning still ok. If this router gone, will need to buy new router due to my contract has ended and I do not want to renew with the TM
*
This router not so stable.
Mine out of a sudden issue ip addresses starting with 10.x.x.x to iPhones only.
Laptop and Android phones got the normal 192.168.x.x ip addresses.
Report to 100 and technicians came and replaced with D-Link DIR 850L.

TM wants to renew my contract if change for me 1 to 1. No point renew with them with lousy modem. Better get modem myself with 2 years warranty
*
Whether you renew your contract or not, you will be still using Unifi for the next two years.
If you were to buy your own router, you will buy a good one. No point buying a low end model which will bring you the same problem.
Oh, modem is life time warranty from TM. Don't need to buy the modem.
Router is the one you can get your own.
