Hi there, i have a problem of the fog light and the way of installation the sport light to my kelisa. I hope to DIY due to acccesories shops offering me crazy price for installation.. 1st, about the fog light of my kelisa. I wish that my fog light can be function together with my headlight, because for now, my fog light will only function when i use my signal light, but now i wanted to make it to be function together with my headlight and it can still function when i use it for signal light.. Any way to DIY or any shop can do it in cheaper price for me?? As info from my friend, he said just have to add a relay on it then will do.. I dont even know how to install the relay 2nd, about the sport light. I found some sport light in some accessories shops that cost around RM50-70, but for the installation, its up to RM50!! The cheapest installation fees that i surveyed cheapest was RM35 at Brothers. So hope some pro sifu can help me to solve this.. Either let me know the way for DIY or intro me some shop that giving cheaper price for installation.. Thanks in advance

The ones that come on with your signal is called cornering lights. They are not fog lights. They are meant to help you light up the curb as you are cornering, hence only come on when you use your signal light to take a corner. They are not much use as anything else and not bright enough for you to use as fog lights. You can install a relay to override it but that would just be a waste of money and energy. As for spotlights, that's about the usual cost of installation. You can't expect it to be any cheaper and of course you can diy if you are a mechanical engineer with some knowledge in electronic.

Oh, is that mean that i need to change the light? I mean the bulb... And why relay would just be a waste of money and energy?

Waste of money and energy means that those lights do not have to be on all the time. It only needs to be turned on when you are taking a turn. You can't just change the bulb and make the cornering lights into a fog lights. Fog lights and cornering lights function differently as the scope of the light is different.

One question. On my wira, these cornering lights light up when I turn on the headlight. I want them to function as cornering light instead. Would it be hard to DIY the wiring?

Would it be hard to DIY the wiring? Only the 1.6 and 1.8 Wira has that feature (can't remember whether 1.5 has it or not). 1.3 definitely lights up together with the headlights. If you are an electrician, it should not be difficult, to connect the wires to the signal light instead of the headlights.

Sorry that i am too noob in this.. I dont know what should i do to make the signal light function together with the headlight.. FIY, the little signal light under the side mirror of my car did function together once my headlight is on.. I dont know what did the previous onwer did on it while my friend's stock kelisa doesnt have that function..

its a bit more complicated than rewiring the black and red wire.......
need to see if relay is necessary or not first.....
