QUOTE(MGM @ Sep 23 2016, 10:00 AM) Woke up this morning, and realise that if I transfer the supp's outstanding balance to my principle card account, it might affect my unrealised CB. So I call the CS to reconfirm n turnout to be the case, n quickly cancel the transfer. Could you elaborate more on how is it affecting your unrealised CB? |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Oct 6 2016, 05:27 PM) yesterday already swiped exact rm500 for unifi (mytm), maxispay, and umobile self care. Can confirm whether the spending for the weekly cashback promotion also entitled for the normal 6% cashback?sms received on Tuesday 7pm, edm received 2pm today. next week target rm500 for astro and maxispay. need to plan this carefully cuz dont want to overshoot monthly spending to hit 6% cb quota. luckily got 1 new supp card to spread the spending equally to achieve promo cb + monthly 6% cb concurrently. |

QUOTE(owj @ Oct 19 2016, 11:04 PM) Hi all. Just gotten a supplementary visa signature today. I have put as separate statement with a dedicated credit limit during application. Coincidentally the bill cycle seems to be the same as my principal. Do I need to call and changed supplementary bill cycle to ensure I get separate cash rebate from my principal? Or I can just leave the bill cycle to be the same how did you apply for the supp. card and how long did it take to get it approved? |

Anyone having problems with 6% cashback for foreign purchases? I had one insurance purchase through an online assistant and the transaction was not eligible for 6% cash back.
I called up the PBVS customer service officer and the officer said if there is any dispute can call them and appeal. What I can conclude is as long as there's sms OTP generated then it's confirmed online transaction, else it may not be online even if the transaction is performed through internet. But I didn't seem to receive any sms OTP for foreign purchases. Can't even check the balance of free premium lounge access for the current year, have to check with premium lounge itself. QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Oct 27 2016, 02:17 PM) I have never had problems with foreign online purchases e.g. paypal, purchase of goods online etc. However, I have never purchased "services" like insurance overseas. Did you ask the CS what the MCC code was? I did not ask, do online transactions have certain MCC codes? If so then it'd be clear cut case.Did you receive any sms OTP for your foreign online purchases? |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Oct 27 2016, 04:09 PM) For Paypal transactions, never. Trying to recall, Amazon and Itunes also no OTP. Oh, even when I paid my professional membership fees and purchased books (to a UK co), I didn't get OTP. However, all the above transactions received CB. Thanks for your responses, I suspect my foreign insurance transaction was done "manually" through an officer and that's why no cashback. The reason I asked about MCC is just to check what they have on record. For example, I don't know if your foreign insurance company received your CC details but did a manual swipe (sorry, I don't actually know how these things work). Or if its something like Grab / Uber apps, where it *should* be like an online transaction, but actually its not (and hence, no cashback for those). Sorry if this isn't very helpful. My other transaction last week was also a society membership from UK, hopefully it's eligible for cashback. QUOTE(??!! @ Oct 27 2016, 06:59 PM) OK, so can only say OTP ==> definitely online, no OTP not necessarily means not considered online. What I can't understand is that the PBVS customer service officer could not ascertain that a particular transaction is considered online or not.. perhaps they want to keep it that way so that we may have to swipe more to guarantee the cash back. QUOTE(mamamia @ Nov 16 2016, 04:58 PM) Strange, I had a more than RM1K transaction on 17 Oct (after conversion from Sterling Pounds) and posted on 18 Oct but did not receive any cash back, the customer service officer told me they are still processing the 3rd week cash back and asked me to check again tomorrow. |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Nov 21 2016, 06:18 PM) Oh interesting, but still get the 6% cash back right? I was planning to pay my membership for this promo too end of this year. Thank you for the update. According to the previous CS it was entitled for the normal 6% cash back but it could be masked out by my other online transactions more than 1k. It's case of hit and miss... |

Anyone knows whether MYEG transactions performed online are considered online transactions for 6% cashback?
I guess it won't be entitled for the current 5% cash back promotion. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Dec 5 2016, 09:53 PM) Normally Im ultra vigilant and monitor carefully. However this round I forgot that my Maybank BT only settled 9600 (because I wanted my instalments to be nice round numbers so used multiple of 12)... And ended up miscalculating. Thanks for your kind sharing. Is the MBB BT under the 0% 12 months with 3% fees waived? I saw my first MBB BT under the promotion had a 3% one time charge and GST. Hopefully I will get the charges credited back in 30 days as advertised.PBB CS was really really nice and sympathetic when she saw my payment pattern. Hope the waiver people will be equally understanding. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Dec 6 2016, 11:12 PM) Don't forget to use the new supplementary card promo form: I am applying a supp. card using the form for my mom. Does the "mother's maiden name" in section 2 refers to my maternal grandmother or my mom herself?https://www.pbebank.com/Personal-Banking/Pr...Jug-Kettle.aspx Can get a free Kettle! How about the telephone numbers and employment details, are they referring to mine or my mom's? a bit confused. |
