Question/Query for confirmation: Could the feature of 6% overlap with this 5%... so essentially, we could get a max of 11% CB on some transactions (or 10% if we hit exactly RM1k on all transaction)....

AKKKKKKK. My mistake. Was 6 October lunch time, 1.53pm. No wonder it was too late. I checked my receipt and it matches transaction date of 6 Oct on my PBB statement.  So sorry for wrong information. Embarrassed!!

But at least I now know that cashback pool runs out super fast.

Enquired PBCS regarding not getting CB for RM1 million swipe promo, their reply was:

We are pleased to advise that transaction for TMONLINE and MAXIS E BILLING  is not qualified for cash back due to under payments for utilities.

My transactions were:
07 OCT 06 OCT TMONLINE(EC) KUALA LUMPUR MY (For Unifi payment, cant recall which portal I used)

07 OCT 06 OCT MAXIS E BILLING-EC PETALING JAYA MY (For Maxis Fibre net payment via Maxis BB portal)

Guess paying via UOB Payonline is still a safer route

As a 2nd thought, as lily already reported that the cash back pool for week 1 has been exhausted by Wednesday and all my transactions are on Thu, hence I think it's not that the payment is not qualified but rather I have missed the timing, i.e. I have been "BS" by those useless CS.

Strange, I had a more than RM1K transaction on 17 Oct (after conversion from Sterling Pounds) and posted on 18 Oct but did not receive any cash back, the customer service officer told me they are still processing the 3rd week cash back and asked me to check again tomorrow.

not much savings. not worth the trouble since going thru many channels: card > shopee > seller > tnb. many issues can go wrong between your card till your tnb account gets updated with payment.

if got at least 5% discount, the worth the trouble.

pay via mytnb portal is better, immediate update, and cb eligible.

Just wanted to share a Christmas / New Year shopping tip. 

I've been reloading 500 or 1000 in One  Utama e-gift cards on Mondays when I have nothing else to spend on to get PBB VS 6% online standard CB plus 5% promo CB). The credit is loaded very quickly and can be used like cash at the majority of One Utama stores. Can even use at those tiny food retailers which normally accept cash only or CC above RM50.

Today bought 3k+ of Christmas presents from normal "retail" places which normally qualify for negligible CB (all those clothing places, make up, Mothercare, Toys R Us etc). Enjoyed lots of sale discounts, the 6% standard CB, and a high chance of 5% promo CB.

Not sure if other malls have a similar concept of preloading credit into a card online, but if they do, it's a great CB maximiser.

Go to https://www.oneshop.com.my - it is very simple. About 5 minutes after purchasing gift card, they send email with redemption code number and link. Amount gets credited almost instantly. Sometimes I choose all my stuff, check total amount payable, and buy the gift card online using my phone before I pay. For big amounts (like buying 2 pairs Nike shoes last week for RM1000), I will always check with the counter whether I can pay the full amount using One Card, then only buy if they say OK. Some retailers have certain weird rules.

During certain festive periods (like Hari Raya and a few others), they even gave rebate (think 5-10%). During those promos, you buy credit of RM100 and get RM10 extra! I maxed out like crazy, got all my family members to apply for One Card and bought the max number during those periods.

E-gift vouchers were only launched this year, so not sure if this generosity will continue as they become more popular. However, at least can still enjoy the 6% online cashback by reloading the card.
