http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/11524458/...ards-11-12-2013Those of you who has just started playing WOW due to the movie ticket, can find some old players to "recruit" you. When you both ground and level together, you get 300% exp buff that make you level superfast. There are also other benefits. You can be recruited as long as you have not play for more than 30 days, that means still within the first free month period.

So recruit a friend must require that friend to pay subscription then only you get 1 month free?
I feel like going back but can ppl rly earn enough to buy token within a month? what if I just buy 1 month game time? Would that count as well for the one who recruit me? Would he get a month free?

Like some what casual, cause I mostly can only spare 1hr a day.

If recruited person pays for one month subscription, you get 1 month sub
If recruited person pays for two months subscription, you get 1 month sub AND a free month.
I am still missing a RAF mount, so if anyone is considering starting out or coming back to the game, and is willing to pay 2 months up front, I would be willing to let you have my movie pass for the account.

Play AH, farm battle pet/mount during events, sell raid / cm carries. It can earn you more, alot more, but you need the effort and time. It is just me I don't want to put my effort towards those stuff

The game tokens are treated same as a normal subscription paid by cash. I have done it and it confirmed working. If the recruited has ingame gold to buy 2 game tokens and use it, the recruiter will get the benefits such as a month free, as well as a choice of free mount. So lets say you have a friend that you want to help and you have lots of gold around, you can actually just send the gold to him, he buys the game tokens and use them, and you will get the benefits.

Well most of the old raids take less than 1 hour to complete. In 1 hour I can easily complete 2 old raids in cata and earn around 3k gold. The only problem is you might run out of old raids to complete even if you only play 1 hour a day. At current market value of 40K per game token, you might need to do other stuffs as well. But even if you could not earn enough gold in a month, you should earn more than enough in 2 months. That's how it could cut down on your expenses.

What about anything older then cata ? like Woltk and below ..... are those worth anything?

QUOTE(mowlous @ Jul 2 2016, 10:39 PM) What about anything older then cata ? like Woltk and below ..... are those worth anything? You get 125g per boss kill in cata 25m heroic raid. In older raids, the gold reward is significantly reduced, probably only 16g per boss kill or less. The older the raid, the easier it is and the less gold is rewarded. Most of the gold from older raids are to sell the loot drops. Clearing woltk lich king raid, for example, will net you only about 800g. When you have nothing else better to do, they can be considered. Clearing burning crusade raid is a lot less rewarding, and vanila even more so.
