Meet up at GH this Sunday, will try to make it, coz im working on that day. We really need to get things going guys. Matty, go ahead with the design portion n give us a look see soon. Zio the reason I'm getting the list of attendance n game choice, coz we need to sort who will be playing or in interested in what games, n then the ones that are not playing will be the so called Marshall to take down scores n see that we adults dont cheat.
I need someone to work on sponsors n get intouch with the Blake dude, see if GameAxis in interested to partly sponsor or cover this event.

@shumaky yeah understand where you are going with the voting but from personal experience, voting can be a double edged sword...since the games are quite popular anyway such as GoW, FIFA, Halo 2 and PG, i think its a safe bet everyone will agree to play the games.

Once you fix the games, I think its just a matter of getting people to come..

As for Blake, jst pm him in the forums. I am sure he will reply. I am still planning my budget, so I will let you know soon what I can sponsor.

like what hav been discuss last night although jus a bit, we really do hav a lot of things to list out first, like security issue la, hows the games tournament gonna be la. what games we will use for the tournament la. transportation la. a long list to go wei.. time is running out soon. and got any sponsor a not???

Shumaky bro, would the items/things to be sponsored need to be Xbox related? Or can it be anything? How about opposing system like a PS3 or a Wii? I could sponsor that, if it's fine. Otherwise, no biggie.

I think its best to have it 360-related because not everyone will have the other consoles, if you mean the accessories.

Let's just say, im calling all favours owed to me, and one of those include getting a PS3 or Wii for cheaps. Since i already have one, might as well use this favour to a good cause. Otherwise, if it's not allowed, might just have to sell it. *shrugs*

i think we should just stick it with things related to xbox360. if can get a console we should get a xbox360. i know some players out there are playing using their fren console. and in another way, we can promote more ppl playing the xbox 360. or mayb some games or accessories. its a gd intention of supplying Wii and ps3. but lets keep it within the theme. anyway it is about the xbox360 community rite.

As we all know there are alot of stuffs to do.. so we are actually considering to postpone this fiesta to a later date.. sometime late march or early apr.

Well, string is being mighty generous to the community, so why should the organisers turn down an offer like this - which doesn't come by every day mind u.

if keeping to the 360 theme is the order of the day, can always turn the PS3 into hard cash, buy a 360 and still have change to spare, which string is entitled to decide what to do with it. just my 2 cents - hope i'm not over-reaching.

Anyway, with so many games being played, might be a good idea to have more prizes to give away, rather than a single big prize.

After all, since this is a privately funded/sponsored event, we might all alone in the end without any sponsors.

But you gotta admit having a NEXT-GEN console as a prize is a big draw.

String, hope your 'favours' can get you more variety, such as MS points, controllers, wireless headsets, games etc...

It's basically free, i only need to take care of the shipping costs. From my buddy in Orange County, LA, i basically get her through her fears of height and got her hooked on roller coasters and thrill rides. I offered to pay my through, but she doesnt want anything of it. I wrestled her out for the shipping though.

Sorry grandma story. I figure, with the tax and shipping charges, it wouldnt even break a grand. Like getting a PSP.

^ thats really kind of you bro string to give up a wii or ps3 as part of the prize. Since we cant get a x360 from you (just kidding) anything that you give will be of a great help. As long as ur sincere in helping. Since this is a big prize.. we are hoping to give it out as a lucky draw for all the fiesta attendees. What da ya think..?
