IINM, need to be Active for Unifi/Streamyx/P1 Wimax as long as you use webe to receive the discount. If you terminate Unifi/Streamyx/P1 Wimax, the discount will not valid.

So, new LTE provider on TM infra

Got unlimited data plan, fair usage applies, means has a hidden cap before throttling big. What is the cap that is the question.

No tethering unless pay more for a "2-hour" pass. With the cap and the pass, it means truly unlimited usage will run up cost really really fast.

if looking for speed, Yes tdd-lte 2300mhz + 2600mhz sure beat 850mhz deep down, no way for webe by 850 to compete in speed

thus they only can come up with marketing promotion all way long

Have to agree on this. Too bad thought their unlimited plans are 1mbps. Bump it up to 2-3Mbps and more takers will sign up. I'll extend my contract too, gladly.

QUOTE
For example, some customers use P2P or file sharing software, which constantly sends and receives videos and other types of very large files, throughout the day. These activities (download and upload continuously) use a lot of bandwidth and can significantly reduce the connection speed, which other customers are getting to access the Internet during peak hours. We don’t believe this is fair to the vast majority of our customers.

We wish to bring to your attention our traffic prioritization policy with regards to P2P and Fair Usage Policy. We would like to reiterate that the P2P throughput is subject to peers (seed) availability and their throughput as well. Kindly note that TM does not have any control over peers’ availability or throughput.

The Fair Usage Policy automatically identifies the extremely heavy users and manages their bandwidth in order to protect the service of all our other customers. This traffic prioritization policy will protect the quality of service for the majority of our customers when they use the service, while at the same time, still allowing the extremely heavy users to continue to send and receive files with certain restrictions. With this policy in place, we will prioritize Internet activities like web browsing, live streaming, messaging applications and VOIP access while traffic to P2P sites will be given lower priority, due to the high bandwidth consumption of such services.

in a nutshell p2p will be throttled rclxs0.gif

Rmember, WeBe uses 850Mhz, Yes uses 2600 Mhz. The higher the Herts is, the faster the speed will be. Just like 2.4Ghz WiFi and 5Ghz WiFi.

This is total BS. the reason 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz are different is becuase there is a lot of devices that use the 2.4 Ghz wavelenght like bluetooth, microwaves and even your cordless home phone. The 5Ghz is less used that is why it is less conjested. The other fact that is true is that 5Ghz has a hard time penetrating through walls and has a lower range than compared to 2.4Ghz. You can say that the 850Mhz used by webe will be better for indoors as it can penetrate throught walls and concrete better then the higher 2.6Ghz bandwidth used by Yes.

Yes, it can penetrate through the walls and even can be used in underground tunnels (maybe), but its bandwidth will be lower.
