Does your got a COA sticker? If got then you should be using its own recovery instead of clean install.

Win 10 cannot boot or laptop cannot boot? Win 10 cannot boot, use recovery! Laptop cannot boot send back to manufacturer! simple solution.

Win 10 can not boot. Laptop is switched on.
I guess the recovery is not working since I had done the hard disc partition.
Any method to recover the win 10?

It should work if you using WINDOWS OWN disk partition, if you using third party disc partition then no. You gonna need to send RMA cause windows 10 is really dumb. They don't have MBR(Main Boot Record) like windows 7 and below have. They use GPT partition which is really secure, this thing don't let you change partition outside of your windows own operating system. Eg, split windows 10 partition to 2 partition in windows 7, they still revert back to 1 partition once you put it back. In the end if it can't be boot, you either have to use its own recovery DVD/pendrive (If you did made one that is). If it still got warranty then send it back. You can't do anything bout it.

Retail disc should work...
Try your COA there: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery

If not, probably through torrent sweat.gif because I don't really trust other direct download sites
http://mirror.corenoc.de/digitalrivercontent.net/

EDIT: well, you can direct downloading, just make sure you check the iso's hashes against the hashes listed on the above site so to give you a piece of mind smile.gif

Why? Unless if your machine has downgrade rights (often found in business machines) then it's not worth downgrading. icon_idea.gif

Either the drive is dead/corrupted installation.

Grab the ISO and perform a reinstall. icon_idea.gif

If not, then the drive could be dead and requires a replacement. icon_idea.gif

I contacted Lenovo support and was told that my laptop can't support win 10.
He advised to roll back to win 7.
Is it true?
I got 8gRam i7.
Thanks

at this point i think you better opt for sending to manufacturer to help you revert to win7 sweat.gif

not saying that the iso will not work, it will accept your key during install but i won't guarantee it will allow to activate after install...
it needs some sort of custom recovery iso which only oems have...

sorry can't help you anymore sad.gif

also is your coa specifically for windows 7 or other os?
that oem saying not support because its because i think is that the option for oem to use custom recovery iso is only for that os and not in a technical way

edit: i have no idea what i am saying please do try... this used to be the method when dealing with coa and now m$ft want to confuse everyone that coa only can be used by oem to reinstall... Source1 Source 2

so much edits are done sweat.gif

Those links look like a lot of "shoulds", e.g. "Microsoft should do this for us, Microsoft should do that for us".
The GOLDEN standard for any monopoly is how much they can abuse their customers.

Microsoft does it, Google does it, Apple does it. Pick your rapist ... rclxms.gif

And quite a few of those links are dead, and it looks to me like a "we don't have a solution, but will just keep talking/complaining" thread.

if you laptop does not have a DVD drive then get an external one

then boot up your machine with the Win 10 install DVD

Click Next to accept what is on screen then look bottom left for something like
'repair computer'

click that and go to troubleshoot then click on something that says 'start up problems'

the process it will do automatically will then repair any boot up problems if you had any

if you still cant boot then its not a boot manager problem

then you reinstall again what to do
