Since I'm still on my trial account, which route should I take? US or SG account?

If US is the better way to go, I guess I will be needing your help then Mr. Ionstorm. smile.gif

Umm...if you've activated your trial, there's no way of changing your location unless you make a new profile.

I prefer US. They've got more content that I want. The latest content on the asian market is just some stupid asian music video...bah.

Yeah, I'm aware of that.

So, I have to create a fresh account, make sure it's US... only then I can use the trial card that you will be getting right?

Argh, if that's the case, I have to start thinking of a new gamertag.

As for your case, you can just use the card to activate your account. You will only need to create a new account if you wanna change the billing address like me. Sigh...

Eh? I thought that's the main difference between US and other accounts? They have more content like tv shows & movies...

I tried downloading one free tv show, seems to work fine. Stupid show though, some comedy. Can't remember the title.

Didn't try others yet, will do so later. I guess it won't work anyways eh?

What's up with the 10 GB usable space on the HDD.... freaking small ler. There's only 100 MB left on mine.... and I don't know what to clear... I want it all, and MOREEEEEEEEEEEE.....

How to backup lar bro? I know there's 'unofficial' way to do it, but are there any easy way to do it the 'legit' way.

With our current connection, downloading anything is a freaking pain. Anyone tried backing up the demos?

Credit Card works that's for sure. You just can't use CC to purchase Points if your account is in the US.

As for renewing using cancelled card, you can check with judgethe regarding that. smile.gif

So, did you managed to renew your account using ionStorm's prepaid card?

actually not renewing my gold with a cancelled ccard... just that microsoft automatically renew my gold with my old ccard which i used 1 year ago. so when it expired microsoft will automatically just charge into the same ccard again. unfortunately that same ccard already no longer exist smile.gif

hehehe last check... late last night still on free gold so consider 2 weeks free gold already. just hope microsoft is still "giving" free gold till thursday night when my wife's new 42" lcd arrive smile.gif

Hmm... so that means it's possible for them to change the country, but they just don't wanna let us do it?

If that's the case, if I want a US account (for the contents and all), how do I safely topup the MS Points?

Maybe that's their way of making more money out of us since we're not giving them enough money. smile.gif

So, Djinn, have you heard of anything like what Leenaz encountered (topup asian points, account changed to SG region) before?

Can you transfer your points to another account then?
