Hi, I'm a new Unifi user and would like to replace the TRG212M(Old Router) modem given by Unifi. I bought TL-WR841NDv11(New Router) and flashed it to DDWRT.

I followed the guide below to retrieve my password
http://blog.amjed.me/recover-pppoe-password-trg212m-unifi/

Then proceeded to setup my new router by following the guide below
https://klseet.com/index.php/12-dd-wrt/dd-w...setup-for-unifi

These are my settings

I have an ethernet cable from Modem to the WAN port of the New Router.
Then another ethernet cable from LAN 1 of New Router to computer.

However even with this setup, I am not able to connect to the internet using the new router. It shows WAN IP: 0.0.0.0

Can any one point me to a useful guide or show me where is the problem at? I don't need HYPPTV.

Hi and thanks for your reply, there's no vlan option under the VLAN tagging section, what should I do next?

Get rid of the vlan 600 tagging since it's for hypptv. Also did you try following the steps here?

Try eth 0.500. You don't have to insert 600 since you don't need Hypptv.

I'm already using eth 0.500 as shown in the first post. Will try your suggestion by deleting the eth0.600 later when I'm back home. biggrin.gif

Let me know if you succeed, since I have the same problem.

Sorry to break the news, it didn't work out. I reverted back to the stock firmware and use the "Unifi mode" instead smile.gif

I did the same. Not sure why I can't get a IP address for my WAN.

I am trying the quick setup mode and it doesn't help

Ideas?

Regards,

If you're still having the problem. Did you use the Malaysia firmware? it should write "Unifi PPPoE" if the firmware is correct
