Just read the NVIDIA Tesla P100 what is it for compared to our nvidia 1080 gtx what data mining and stuff arent graphic cards used for graphics rendering?

TM code finished&expired already . Last time i bought palit gtx1070 jetstream rm1699 with tm code but feel like overkill becoz monitor 1080p 60hz only , no plan to upgrade monitor so downgrade to 1060 .

we are the same 1080p 60hz gtx 1070, but my case even worse, i got first gen i5 processor which will bottleneck kao kao. but i am lazy to downgrade. See which day my hand itchy and go to upgrade to 1440p.

Bro better u upgrade ur old gen i5 1st la , 1440p monitor is expensive leh

Yup use 20AEON code . Super jetstream is + >rm200 compare to dual fan , iinm the different is super jetstream oced , casing wiv led and better fans thn dual fan version but the cooling design is the same , u can overclock urself on dual fan too . So i dont think its worth to pay extra >200. If i pay >rm1.2k for 1060, i rather keep my 1070 which only cost me rm1699

Those white hoses need to make another pit stop. And those PVC tubes are way lighter than aluminum/ copper heatsink. You know what I mean. He he he bending problem be gone.

kianweicThe thing is, some reviews simplifies the results, typically just showing the avg fps when in fact it doesn't paint the full picture. Just like in this video, Crysis 3 went from 45 fps to 85 fps. I did my own frame time analysis on UWQHD resolution. True that going from single to SLI almost double the avg fps, but the min fps actually doesnt differ much. And when you're flying at 80+ fps and then just drop to 40 fps, like they always say, higher you go, the harder you fall. So in addition to second GTX 1080 to SLI, investing in a good 100 Hz Gsync monitor is also highly recommended. Or just use Vsync.

And then there's the case of Project Cars. My test, avg fps went from 51 to 55 fps only. So if thats the only number I present, looks like no point going SLI. But if analyze the frame time, min fps, pCars is one example of a game that actually benefit a lot in terms of gameplay if using SLI.

Going from single GPU to SLI (or even Crossfire for AMD) is still very much a hit and miss thing for now. That's why most reviewers still recommend a single powerful GPU rather than SLI/ Crossfire. But nothing's wrong going for SLI as long as you have set your expectations right. If Hitman is your game, avoid GTX 1080 SLI coz for that same amount of money, or maybe less, you're better of buying the upcoming Titan X Pascal.
