eh, what changes are they making to 76? i recently just got addicted to 76
it reminds me of CS Beta 5.2 MP5 where you tap for 100% pinpoint hit like a sniper.

yeah, sydney sleeper is the closest comparison to ana's sniper.
can't take the TF2 out of players lol!

i notice that for long time when i read reddit someone complain for S76. those player lower the graphic setting and use that tactic for headshot if i not mistaken...

while actual playstyle i did was just yesterday lel. (being lazy aiming people, thats why i play mei spray around ... ahhaha )

There were player's using scripts to burst S76 so they can hold down the mouse and have 100% accuracy. Basically it is almost full auto with no bullet spread.

they use macro/script to make it so that by holding the mouse1 it becomes continuous tap instead of spray?

Yup. Though with this new update they are also people who are able to tap the mouse in split second intervals.

Personally I don't play 76 much but he's pretty much the only effective counter I have to Pharah. Not sure how this will affect me yet.

Any site with specifics on the changes to 76? Concerned as he is my most played.

all the update and patch only apply to PTR right nothing change yet in the live game?

Basically S76 just became more COD like. Nothing really major if you've been playing games like BF and COD. You'll notice that the crosshair does not reset to the tight spread immediately after you release the mouse button.

It takes about half a sec. It's not really slow or anything but it kinda prevents rapid burst fire. You can still do it but at a slower pace. Just about enough to kill one Pharah if you don't miss.

S76 is a very big nerf I feel..
You can do 3 burst shots with 100% accuracy before and now it's harder to do it because of the wait time.

not higher DPI mouse. Try 800dpi with 8 sensitivity in game. Shooting takes years of FPS games to master. For current S76, you should shoot 4~6 bullets and release like 0.1sec. Practice your shooting skills in practice range or AI.

Next patch will make S76 harder to play because it takes longer time to recover from bullet spread.

seeing how pro s76 shoots, i'm totally agreeing the nerf

i know this video is about CS:GO but the basic principles about finding your own sensitivity in Overwatch somehow still applies.
higher dpi/sensitivity is not related to how "pro" you are. veteran gamers from quake era are mostly used to high sens due to the fast nature of the game. some pro-gamers uses low sens as well.
get rid of that misconception first, then you should be able to open up your minds to look for your own sensitivity.

i have different sensitivity for different kind of games, but all that is dependant on how comfortable and in control do you feel in that game with different sensitivity settings.

tl,dr;
find your own sensitivity where you can follow moving target comfortably and easily.

also, do note that the FPS affects your aiming as well. (thanks iEnzo )
generally, higher FPS is better. from the moment i noticed how big difference does FPS makes to my game, since then i've tweak my video settings to mostly low for higher FPS and smoother aiming.

not too sure how "bad" the nerf is going to be yet...haha!
but the sucky part is i just got addicted to soldier 76 not long ago
