What about roms from xiaomi.eu? They usually removed all bloatware + tweaks/improvement on their own rom

I accidently relocked my device when I tried to go back to xiaomi rom from marshmallow customs ones.
For some reason, the fingerprint scanner is not there/security settings keep crashing

Anyone mind sharing your success flashing marshmallow rom with fingerprint scanner/security settings working nicely?

How's the speed at your home? I see webe advertised now and the packages listed are really interesting

So you probably don't have to worry about anything,

One way to root is flashing supersu with custom recovery like twrp
To flash twrp, you'll need to unlock your bootloader

There's the official unlock method where you need to request for unlock which usually gets approved less than 10 days
You'll be able to get root access(in security app) once your bootloader is unlocked

Another is unofficial method which can be done immediately

Only drawback is that you can't flash xiaomi roms (official or xiaomi.eu) using twrp.
Otherwise the phone probably won't start and your bootloader gets locked again.
So only use fastboot/edl method to flash xiaomi roms back.

If it's official update there shouldn't be any off those apps, unless it's still vendor rom
Best way is to use miflash and flash global rom for rm3 pro
I'd recommend to backup any important stuff (whatsapp chat/sms/pictures) before flashing it
Apparently there's no flash script to only wipe the phone excluding internal storage

Ok, what if you're going back to miui roms
Do you still flash using twrp or use miflash?
I tried with twrp, my phone couldn't start after that and bootloader got relocked.

Just go with dev rom, should be no problem

What was the error?

Power button + volume up
If still problem, just go to updater and selecr reboot to recovery

Used miui v8 for a while, cloning feature's great when you want to use it with whatsapp.
But i went back to cm13, smoother than any miui roms

Only problem i had was fingerprint option not showing up in the settings. Apparently have to flash cm13 modem file to get it working
But i did backup efs just in case

Use miflash to flash back to miui8 (LL based).
I tried flashing back using twrp, and almost bricked my device and bootloader got locked.
Good thing I can still go to edl mode on fastboot.

That's taking a bit too long
The longest for me was 5 minutes

Which TWRP version did you flash? I used alka's twrp, no weird errors so far
