Try flashing 7.1.7.0. Newer versions will have problem flashing if you're talking about global rom.

Only Elephone and Vivio had official support in Malaysia. So far, Xiaomi is having the worst after sales service among all the Chinese brand smartphone.

2GB RAM 16GB ROM is even adequate for moderate gamer like me myself so I don't see any reason it wouldn't be enough for users like you.

I run xiaomi.eu roms, and it comes with more free space than original miui global rom does so usually, I have 5-6GB free space left after installing apps.

Most likely because of the file format. Micro SD card more than 32GB of storage are formatted as exFAT file format. I believe Redmi Note 3 doesn't comes with native exFAT support, so I suggest you try to format the card as FAT32.

Starting from 7.3, MIUI ram management became too aggressive at killing task. I don't understand why the can't have it until 100MB RAM left and only then start to kill apps automatically.

LTE band 5 = 850
Mediatek variant doesn't comes with Band 5 support but Snapdragon Variant does.
