QUOTE(Ji3MOON @ Jul 30 2016, 10:33 PM) Yup, going to do my EFR + Rescue end of August while my wife going to upgrade her Scuba Diver to Open Water. Both with B&J Tioman.Bought 1 fundives package with Panorama Divers (Perhentian), and 3 more fundives package with Turtlebay Divers (Perhentian). In return, got lots of freebies and goodies (t-shirts, pointer, mesh bag, 'swiss' knife, water bottle, and some other small item). Goodies from Turtlebay really a stealer. Lastly, the black box and el-cheapo prescription mask for me. |

As far as i know, one divemaster usually will stays with one dive centre throughout the season and might switch to other places the next season, as i heard from several dm that i met and knew personally. I couldnt comment for instructors though as i dont really know many of them close enough.Turtlebay is actually the earliest dive centre in Perhentian Island, and has quite large inventory in term of equipments, dms and dive boats. But i do agree the personnels that attended their booth today weren't that appealing. |

I couldnt comment for instructors though as i dont really know many of them close enough. the only gripe i have with tenggol scuba101 is that their resort package, resorts dont have wifi or internet which means being off the grid, something that i dont really want for somewhat safety sake although im told its not completely remote that simple cellular doesnt work which isnt all that bad somewhat Turtlebay is actually the earliest dive centre in Perhentian Island, and has quite large inventory in term of equipments, dms and dive boats. But i do agree the personnels that attended their booth today weren't that appealing. other than that i should be happy with it |
