Advance are required with minimum number of dive logged dives..and also they will see how u dive on ur previous /check dive..if you are looks OK and confident and good with control air breathing they will allow u to go sophie.. is f*ck*ng deep! Haha 60m! My most deep dive ever..

Ya dangerous dun go better..but the wreck is so nice..if u comfortable with deep dive and have a good air breathing I think no problem..its easy decent..and the guide is profesional with double tank..focus on dive briefing then u should be safe.. If u die then is God call 😓

They take u down to 60m on a single air tank? I wouldnt recommend this dive to anyone even if you are most confident. Air become toxic once you reach 53m. The pressure down there will make the P02 become more than 1.6 and you may drown due to convulsion by oxygen intoxication. Also u might not have enough gas to do proper decompression stops to get back to the surface without experiencing DCI.

To put things into perspective, a 50m dive will need at least 4 tanks. Twin tanks being air and deco bottles filled with nitrox. A 20 min spent at 50M will need u to do a total accelerated deco stops for about 40 mins with those nitrox bottles (50% & 100%). Will be even much longer if doing deco on air. A dive at 60m will requires CCR/Trimix with deco bottles to perform safely according to TEC standard.

and one other thing, i read that some wing type bc will the wearer prone to face down in open water. is this true

Hye there..no need train till 300m as long u can swim n float then ok..you can try survey about Sea Monkey Dive Centre at Pj Palms.. I take my Open Water at there.. Good DC and Instructor

i read at padi web there pre-req is to be able to swim for 200m n float for 10minutes.  ooh thanks, i will go check it out.
