QUOTE(wKkaY @ Oct 21 2016, 08:26 PM) Mainly older guests or couples. Not so much young single travellers. But its not bad.QUOTE(karichio @ Oct 22 2016, 08:12 AM) i am planning to go there either next month or dec, between the bale and dorm which one is better? do they always get full house? need to book in advance? Better to plan ahead but Nov and Dec still got space for the Bales. They removed the dorm rooms and made it a twin sharing rooms but I would pick the bales since its nearer to the beach and dining area, plus its cooler with the night breeze.lol i thought they have wifi provided There is no wifi here since even mobile network was really bad until recently it got much better with 3g at the resort. |

QUOTE(XtraSpicy @ Oct 23 2016, 06:57 PM) I thought the angmoh instructor give you freediving lessons already.. Or that was skin diving? Cant tell the difference hahah Skin diving is different from free diving. Taking proper free diving course you learn more.QUOTE(wKkaY @ Oct 23 2016, 09:01 PM) Can lay in the hammoc |

QUOTE(lazarus7247 @ Nov 1 2016, 12:00 PM) Going to pulau weh next year january. Is it a good time ? Depends on the moon and currents.Heard i need reef hooks .. Bastard current a good dive ? Out of the 2 times I went there I didn't need a reef hook. If the guide suggest to stay at 1 spot he will use the reef hook and you can hold on to the guide's BCD. |

QUOTE(lazarus7247 @ Nov 1 2016, 09:15 PM) Hmm I'm probably gonna dive with Monster Divers. Stay haven't decided yet. Cant really find much accommodation. Anybody did sophie rickmers ? Monster Divers have pick up if I am not mistaken so can stay different places. I think their DC is at the same beach as Lumba Lumba right? |

QUOTE(Ji3MOON @ Nov 2 2016, 12:09 PM) Ya dangerous dun go better..but the wreck is so nice..if u comfortable with deep dive and have a good air breathing I think no problem..its easy decent..and the guide is profesional with double tank..focus on dive briefing then u should be safe.. If u die then is God call 😓 Its not just about good air breathing and comfortable with deep dive. There is other issues with going so deep as well. That is why people go for tec diving training. |

QUOTE(N0eL @ Nov 2 2016, 01:55 PM) They take u down to 60m on a single air tank? I wouldnt recommend this dive to anyone even if you are most confident. Air become toxic once you reach 53m. The pressure down there will make the P02 become more than 1.6 and you may drown due to convulsion by oxygen intoxication. Also u might not have enough gas to do proper decompression stops to get back to the surface without experiencing DCI. Actually P02 of 1.4 for air is at 57m (or 56.66666666666...m).To put things into perspective, a 50m dive will need at least 4 tanks. Twin tanks being air and deco bottles filled with nitrox. A 20 min spent at 50M will need u to do a total accelerated deco stops for about 40 mins with those nitrox bottles (50% & 100%). Will be even much longer if doing deco on air. A dive at 60m will requires CCR/Trimix with deco bottles to perform safely according to TEC standard. They do not go down for long periods of time and do hang safety bottles at safety stop level for their safety stops. I am not sure how long the safety stops are but if not mistaken it was about 40+min with air (never done the dive before as I don't think its safe unless trained). |

QUOTE(mabaw @ Nov 2 2016, 04:53 PM) in your opinion, which harness is the most comfortable That is a misconception. Wings do not push you forward. Honestly I prefer my wings more than jacket.and one other thing, i read that some wing type bc will the wearer prone to face down in open water. is this true Actually for me 2 tank sm is harder to face upward on surface. And not many people use it cos of the additional purchases. |

QUOTE(Ji3MOON @ Nov 28 2016, 03:52 PM) Hye there..no need train till 300m as long u can swim n float then ok..you can try survey about Sea Monkey Dive Centre at Pj Palms.. I take my Open Water at there.. Good DC and Instructor It is part of PADI requirements to swim and float la.QUOTE(chinti @ Nov 28 2016, 04:03 PM) i read at padi web there pre-req is to be able to swim for 200m n float for 10minutes. yes you need to do the swim and float and if an instructor tells you that its okay not to do it than question them about it. It is part of the requirements to take up diving.200m is not difficult since there is no time limit so you can do it slowly. It doesn't even have to be a proper stroke. 10min float can be done on your back, doesn't mean you have to be threading water for 10min in a horizontal position. |
