try this .

connected your modem on your pc.

use share connection .

use the lan cable and hook it up to xbox 360.

Added on April 19, 2008, 3:58 pmhi, im having problems with maxshit again. this time the NAT setting is killing me. From the "test connection" screen it shows as moderate NAT. is the NAT setting something we can fix? anything to change it or to fix this problem? frequent DC in halo, long connecting time, its killing me. urgh!

Is there any way to connect the Maxis modem directly to your xbox 360? I'm using an iMac and so I can't really hook it up via PC -> Xbox...

No you can't hook it up directly but you can hook the modem up to the Mac using USB, configure to share connection and use the XBOX360 ethernet cable to connect them smile.gif

Ahah! I figured it out and actually you CAN connect it directly to the Xbox360. It was all a matter of fixing the network settings on my console and setting the modem to auto connect regardless of what it was connecting to. >_<

From my experience based on the ZTE modem, you can't.

Although the modem can auto conenct and ou can fiddle around the console setting, te Maxshit actually need the PC to perform some sorta "login" procedure via "visit" the URL :-

Our XB360 is not capable to do that should the connection suddenly failed. doh.gif

that's your opinion, not the fact.

I've used the Maxis Wireless to play online games all the time and I had a lot of fun on it. The only problrm is the connection over my area is not stable on daytime

i cant seem to connect properly to MRO servers and thru hamachi.

i've noticed the connecton problem for XB live is because of my own windows firewall..altho it says moderate NAT, but connection to GTA4 game servers and halo servers are ok...but weekend totally out lar...lol,,,

There're wireless routers to connect the USB modem. That might be your solution.
