Red Dead Redemption was on Xbox 360, just not on PC.

I'm not a fan of the multi-characters like GTA V though. Somehow the story loses the impact playing 3 different characters.

The volume is quite low for RDR 2. Is it my problem or everyone is facing the same issue? For this game I have to crank up the volume while playing. I'm using a soundbar & just started this game few days back

I stopped playing because of this with my super loud jet engine PS4. Opened it up clear dust, not much dust in there at all. Replace thermal paste. Still loud. Max volume on game can't block out the PS4 sound to get into it. With RDR gotta be in the mood like the atmosphere when riding along and all that. Waiting for a patch that fixes the volume.

My PS4Pro is noticeable a lot more quieter after I replace the thermal paste, about 50% reduction in noise, what thermal paste you used, PS4 Pro also?  I'm using Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut
now I'm having more peaceful time playing RDR2 even without using headphones

and yeah, the volume in RDR2 is a lot more lower compared to other games, almost burst my eardrum when switching to other game using the same vol for RDR2, didn't realized I've set it to the max doh.gif

Not PS4 Pro, is the fat one not bought at launch though maybe a year after? I got the arctic silver based on a video. Can hear it even over the headphones so really no mood play the game. It's probably time for Pro upgrade but reading the subreddit even some Pros have the issue. Should bite the bullet and go with upgrade anyways?

I use a Pro, forced the game to play at 1080p mode - it's pretty quiet (under 44db from 2 meters away), even on hot days without air cond (then again my room is rarely ever hot so...).

My previous fat one was loud also, my Pro was loud as well, thought it was normal until I heard my friends' unit, confirmed mine is loud
If wanna upgrade to Pro, go for the latest model, RDR2 bundle or the CUH-7200 model, most said it's the quieter one
mine previously still sounds ok on 1080p mode, it's unbearable when it's on 4K mode
now after replacing the thermal paste, 4K mode is quiet, normal play I can hardly notice the fan now

Cool guess time for upgrade. My room not hot either probably console is at end of its life now.
