If you have one wheel stuck in the sand, you need to off VSC to get out. If you on VSC the wheel will get deeper.Official Honda Civic 10th Gen Owner/Fans Club V1, Turbo kick in yo...

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 4 2016, 10:47 AM) That, and also if you're using the spare space saver tyre. You need to turn off VSC as well coz the car is not balanced. Saw other region civic has this feature. Just wondering haha. Why do you need to turn it off anyway? There is no button to disable it, but you can plug out a fuse - but this disables all airbags iinm QUOTE(WingZero @ Jul 4 2016, 10:51 AM) If you plan to put your child seat at the front passenger seat you will need to disable the airbag for that seat. Yalo...but still better not. |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 4 2016, 08:00 PM) My SA told me that if you drive hard - hard acceleration, tachometer 4k-5k etc - the oil life will drop more than your mileage. QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jul 4 2016, 08:19 PM) Common 'issue' with condition based servicing intervals. The distance travelled will never be the same as the actual. Usually its about 60%. Same with my BMW. No matter how gently we drive, the servicing interval is about 7,000km instead of 10K. Thanks. I was playing around with the touchscreen for quite some time while the car was idle. Maybe it contributed to this problem. Will see if it improves going forward. |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 5 2016, 04:07 AM) Ok, just watched a video on Honda's maintenance minder. Apparently short trips, frequent starts & stops as well as driving on hilly terrain will reduce the oil life faster. Just noticed my car has 400 mileage but oil life has been reduced by 600km - my daily route is quite short & hilly. Sounds true. Tqvm. |

QUOTE(hamrog @ Jul 5 2016, 10:13 AM) I had lots of issues. So I really had to learn and adjust to set it up properly. I even had to format my phone 2x I installed the apk file in my phone but once completed it says application not installed. Mind to share how you installed AA? I use a Sony Xperia z5. Here's what you can try: 1. Go to HU settings into android auto settings and enable your device. Chances are, your device was disabled. If that doesn't work 1. Delete and reinstall android auto on your device 2. Delete your device from the android auto settings 3. Restart your phone 4. Restart head unit 5 connect and try Worst case, do all above but reformat your phone instead. After I did that everything seems to work perfectly fine now. |

QUOTE(hamrog @ Jul 5 2016, 10:27 AM) You installed the wrong version. The latest AA apk may not be suitable for your phones architecture. There is the older x86 and newer arm64 bits versions. If you are using the new snapdragon processors then u will need to download the arm64 version instead. It will install successfully when u get the right version Thanks for the tip bro |

QUOTE(sirnevio @ Jul 5 2016, 09:30 PM) QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Jul 5 2016, 10:12 PM) 130km is your total driven mileage, should be the 9000km+ reading that is the estimated mileage till next oil change. Yea understood but if you look closely indicator "A" pops up. It happened straight after I went to refuel.I am still not comfortable with 130km mileage and 9500km oil life. If 100km+- consume 500km+- oil life @ oil life expectancy of 10,000km. Rough calculation would show oil change to be done at 2,000 km mileage. To make it worst, my car is telling me to change the oil at 130km mileage. Anyway, got to visit my dealer soon. |

QUOTE(onetree710 @ Jul 5 2016, 10:23 PM) Let me guess, you have not read the user manual, right? Can't you see that it stated very clearly the next oil change is after 9500km? QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jul 5 2016, 11:06 PM) 9500km till your next oil change. Its clear. Don't forget you are driving a brand new car. The first oil change will be faster cuz of the pollutants. The interval will only stabilise after your first oil change. Even then as I explained before, for normal driving expect to change the engine oil approx. every 7,000km. If you drive 'hard' then it will be earlier. QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Jul 5 2016, 11:10 PM) For now, just drive like normal until you see the indicator for oil change, no need headache to figure this out at the moment. This kind of system sure will have a reminder when reach a certain point. Enjoy your new car Maybe this picture will help to explain where I am coming from. If you read the manual book, the indicator is only suppose to pop up at 1,500km oil life.Any Turbo owners can help to see if the letter A is already there from the start? Maybe the letter need to be blinking? lol This post has been edited by Sanity: Jul 5 2016, 11:35 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jul 5 2016, 11:36 PM) Not sure if u pressed anything to get it. But it seems normal to me. It states 9500 till your next oil change. Just refuel petrol and reset the trip knob and it pops up. Anyway SA advised to visit doctor to solve the mysterious letter "A".This post has been edited by Sanity: Jul 5 2016, 11:45 PM |

QUOTE(sinistersin @ Jul 5 2016, 11:48 PM) I think the A was there as standard. It doesn't appear on any other screen but when I scroll into the oil life screen, the A appears there. Think you maybe right. Watch 16:06. Sorry all for the confusion. do update me if you've consulted the service center. https://youtu.be/44QUs0rVeKg This post has been edited by Sanity: Jul 6 2016, 12:08 AM |

Some of you may have concern about elderly entering and exiting the car due to the lower height. I am happy to report that my grandpa who is in his 80s says he is comfortable doing so hehe
