I got it from speedy video outlet at aeon Ipoh station 18, I believe this deal is still on-going at all outlets

The fact is only at limited titles selection, if you're lucky, you might get some rare title

It's kinda sad to see video store close down one by one these few years...

i have this feeling speedy is closing down too... one outlet is having sale of up to 70%!! never in my recent life around speedy video (this goes back to 1997 when dvd was first introduced and i made frequent visits to speedy for new titles) that they are having a storewide sale, let alone this crazy sale...!!

if speedy close down, there no more physical store selling CD,DVD, BD already

yup agreed, the last ones i can remember folded (franchised ones) are 'rock corner' (selling blu-ray although being secondary item to mostly CDs) and 'Video Ezy' (used to buy quite a number of DVDs and renting laser discs back in the days...) so the only one left selling CDs, but not selling DVDs & blu-rays is.. Speedy Video at Empire Shopping Gallery in Subang Jaya has closed down. I'm not surprised that more outlets will follow the same footstep... oh well

bro, have you bought any blu-rays from Speedy or other local retailers before? so far i only bought once (just to check it out what local/asian manufactured blu-rays are when i first adapted to HD about 10-11 years ago) – that was 'avatar' steelbook version from Video Ezy. i've never bought any since.... only bought blu-rays from Amazon. i could've made a big haul from Speedy's RM10 or 20 sale!!

I wonder how many speedy video outlet still left currently since many more closed down...

Please support speedy video while it still there I guess...

I had bought few from speedy when offer rm55 for 2, most their bluray from HK then repackage. Last year myside here ioi mall branch close down too after ioi mall renovated, those rm10 and rm50 for 3 titles sale really tempted but i lazy go down to midvalley and one utama.

well i guess it's quite tricky what "support" means right now to Speedy because if we buy more now (especially during sales), it means the faster they'll close down when most stocks cleared... but i get what you meant

i think the quality of the content of those Asian blu-ray discs are almost if not as good as the US/UK ones but the quality (& printing) of the packaging/sleeve that most often times lets me down... and turns me off a bit from buying them. but it is so tempting that the price now is a "durian runtuh"!!

Well if we support along the way maybe they will keep the business going on without closing down, but that's only my thought...chances are pretty slim
