First time playing Ultra HD Blu-ray in 4K HDR.

Received my alien saga Blu-ray just in time before new year.
Not 4k but I'll probably get that one once upgrade to 4k hdr tv

HDR colors really pop?
Noticed there's haier 4k tv which has quite reasonable price (1.4k) but no hdr

You need HDR content for showing out your TV HDR. Beside UHD Blu-ray HDR, YouTube also have some, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video as well.

HDR is do very striking. Another kind of experience.

just to share my recent black friday "kasi sapu" sale titles haul... this set is a combination of 4 different parcels that were split by amazon. one of them was even upgraded to priority shipping (courier) when all i can afford all this while is standard shipping (cheap lor...) another parcel with 6 titles in it is also arriving soon...

note: sorry, this picture and all the blu-rays shown are not in 4K UHD ya...

budget doesn't allow to buy hardware yet. as for 4K or UHD tv, will only be interested once price drop realistically like what LED became after a few years of its introduction. now got OLED somemore.... hummph

how about you bro, have you upgraded to 4K... or still collecting cheap software first, then only think about hardware later on...

one of the reason i didn't buy any BD in 2017.
This year will upgrade to 4K. Most probably start with TV first on march where LG going to release 2018 model.

IMO normal Blu-ray upscale is crazy clear like 4K. I only have 43" 4K TV, in biggest size may different.

Same title only worth upgrade to 4K for it HDR format. Some title is fake 4K, it will said upscaling in www.blu-ray.com

will only buy those that still haven't in my list.

I put inside my room. 43" is very big for me already in room. Hehe.

Living hall haven't upgrade yet. No money already. Haha. Wait some times first. Target on 55" to 60" 4K HDR TV. Haha

I am using Panasonic DMP-UB400GAK. I think it is the cheapest UHD Blu-ray Player in the market for the moment.

Original price is RM 1,499.00

I buy at RM 999.00 at SenQ during December, 2017 promotion. I not sure now still got promotion or not.

Any brand will do and dirt cheap now but none have all region for DVD and Blu-ray.
