You could always found some seller in this forum selling Yes sim card.

Yes are running on their own network and no sharing agreement with any other service provider.

one last question, my phone is not in the supported devices listed in YES website. As long as have 4g, should have no problem kan? hmm.gif

edit1: yes 4g runs on which lte bands?

edit2: found out that it runs on band 38 and 40. my phone can use.

A school near my home have a yes tower. Under the bestarinet program. Maybe that's why the lte signal too is strong in my area.
Assuming the program is in sarawak, you should notice that tower in the school.

Looks like YES starts to offer 4G+ based on their Note 9 advertisment

Anyone know what is the coverage for 4G+, and which bands and whether it is Interband or Intraband-CA ?

Huawei P9 Lite manage to detect the YES 4G Signal and Yes seems to be installing low band antennas on their current sites in my area

Did you actually find out the actual band in use or you are guessing base on the situation. Is there any possibility that it's band 8 rather than band 20? I don't think band 20 will actually deploy in Malaysia due how the spectrum is allocated.

I'm using guessing base but I did receive an insider rumor about Yes started to deploy 800MHz but it won't be launch to the public before the analog TV switched off

Can you install cellmapper app ?
cellmapper can show freq, what band, bandwidth, tower location, antenna position, tower coverage footprint etc.

Google said 800MHz used by trunk radio. YTL 800MHz 404

The very last time I was using it was a hit or miss but that was almost a year ago not sure about current situation. Yes users base are too small for the bank to even bother to notify their SMS blast provider (since they are responsible for getting the TAC to user's phone) regarding any issues.
