yes a bit underpower..
but i think its ok coz with 4 passengers and bonet fully loaded it cost only rm50 per 310 km- 340 km penang city drive with heavy traffic jam..

do u guys know why my car keep making sound when i release the clutch..the sound doesnt stop unless i press the clutch again..but only when im on 3rd - 5th gear..
i ve changed the gear oil..still have that sound but better than before..
less noise..hmm..do i have to change the gearbox guys?
or is it normal?
the sound is not loud..u can only hear it when u switch off the aircond and radio and try to listen carefully..
but i just want to know whether its goin to cause a big probs or not?

Wow, I'm new comer here and this place is very cool. I'm driving a Sentra N16 1.6 MT. But still no intention to mod it at the moment. Haha, maybe in the next few year, I'll mod it heavily

if want to overhaul, better take full overhaul so next time wont need to operate the engine again.
after overhaul can drop in a BOT boost 1bar.

use light weight rim. better get those made in taiwan. dont get local rim.
if u have better budget go for made in japan light weight rim.
with 16" rim u will get a bigger tyre for sure so u will suffer some power drop on ur car. but conering is damm nice.
as far as i know JRD rim is rm700++. tyre 195/55/R15 goodyear is rm175. and heard tyre price will go up again very soon. so better change it faster. made in taiwan 15" rim is rm8-900++. made in japan 15" rim is rm2k++. 16" sure expensive than 15". i only know 15" rim pricing cozs i using a 15" now.
but 16" or 17" rim on sentra really looks pretty! macam itu latio impul which is uring 17" rim. damm pretty!

boonpeng : it depends on ur budget actually. how much u wanted to invest into it?

14" to 15" got difference, looks better from the apprearance.
16" of cozs looks lagi better. Vanquish has a 16" rim if not mistaken.
power drop if u using too big rim cozs 16" rim is heavier and the width is greater than 15" width.
its either u want pretty big rim or performance. if u want 17" rim and yet got power, then have to transplant sr16ve or BOT the engine.

boonpeng : i`m using taiwan lightweight 16". my ori was 14". the FC nd power is just as same. not much diffrent. as for ur budget 1500 for 16" is quite tight with tyres. unless u get a commercial tyres, but it is not so good. tyres is very important as its the only contact path, so y not stick to stock, save a lil bit more and get a better than normal tyres?

boonpeng : my 16" rim + tyres cost me about 2.6k, and i tradded in my 14" for rm1.1k good price isnt it? hehe when its quite news la, i think 1-2month old

No, my one is stock engine and never mod anything. You said 1 bar can drive about 50-60KM, you mean 1 bar or 1 sub bar? This morning I drive to my work place, when reach my work place, already droped one sub bar and I only driven 9km, but quite jam lar. I mostly like pump RM50.00 can drive until around 350km +/- 20km in KL, selangor area plus jam lor. Just some times see the fuel gauge suddenly drop 1 sub bar, not syok already. haha
