Hi all N16 owners,

My N16 has brake rattling noise when going over uneven road, the sound is like "krrrroook krrroookkk krooookkkkkk", when apply brake the sound gone, if let got the brake, the sound comes back again. It happens only on uneven road. Please advice or recommend me any good workshop around kl area.

That why lor.. Even compare with my house civic FD2.0, Latio 1.8, and saga 1.3, my sentra FC is really terrible..

Another thing I wonder is what happen with nissan service centre.. When I do my first service on my sentra, I wanna use semi synthetic engine oil but there said not advisable and force me to use mineral oil. So I accept that cause only 1k service.. So last two weeks, I brought my latio 1.8 to the same service centre to do 20k km service. The same answer given by the Service Advisor that cannot use other oil except for the mineral.. As he said not advisable.. So I get very frustrated. Don't tell me a nissan can't ever use semi synthetic or fully synthetic engine oil.. So i don't give a d*mn and force him to give me fully synthetic oil.. End up, he agreed by giving me fully synthetic after I said I will service it at outside is Nissan provide me such services.. I wonder izit nowday tan choong service centre too rich edi.. Even got business also don't want.

Ic, great ! May i know where you go to do the dismantle and putting silicon ? Is it in kl area ? Is it using a kind of silicon that can stand the accessive heat of the brake ?

Ic. Great ! Thank you for the information. I hope can fix the problem by this weekend. The silicon can just use the ordinary aquarium silicon ?  not a special type ? Just wanna confirm.

user N16 auto trans out there...,the o/d and air bags light will blink on and off then u can start ur engine.
but what if the o/d light keep blinking for about 5 sec and off...then u start ur engine....then u drive the car,when changing gear from 1st to 2nd feels like the car jump like it change the gear in the hard way or we can say "tersentap". This only happen after i get the weird engine checking of the o/d blinking rather then stay blink before it go off.

the problem start after friend of my parents take my car to change the battery that is "kong" yesterday...and when he deliver the car back to me...the o/d light is on...i assume that he drove here and there with the overdrive on....

today i wanna ask the pomen to check,and before that i go bought GB oil,ori nissan one....when i get back in my car after bought the oil...all the prob is gone and it back to normal...really2 confusing lor.....go to pomen cek he said all is ok...maybe something is not tight for the sensor...or maybe the ECU is resetting or not stable for a while as the car battery is dead for a day...so pening already..

hi, check with you guys if sentra 2005 1.6SG will also auto lock the driver seat while the car is in move to certain speed?

mine doesnt... it only auto locks three passenger seats... is it normal?
