CIMB Debit Card not compatible with Steam

Hi guys, just got my CIMB Debit Card last week and tried to add a new payment method for Steam with my debit card number but it seems like it was rejected? Does a debit card not work with Steam anymore? Help pls

Call bank..and asked them to activate it..it blocked steam transaction by default..my brothers just activated it..
