I've never stepped in SG in the first 23 yrs in my life but I got my first job in SG without referral/knowing anyone immediately after graduation from non-SG uni. That was 4 yrs ago. Sent 2, received invitation for interview = 1.

Aussie has fixed working hours...?

It has a more predictable working hours. Likewise in sg, work til midnight seems like a norm for my industry.

May I know if your home address and contact number all from Singapore, would it be easier to get an interview call?
*
There have been rumours that yes, if your are applying with sg address and phone number, presumably u are in Sg. But nope, I applied using Malaysian address and phone number.

Those who want to change SGD to RM (and if it is not substantial), can consider CIMB global transfer. The rate quite competitive.

SG, I'm coming back soon! Have been active in "working in Australia" thread and upon return, this would be my next spot.

Whoever from finance background, intended to move over to Aus but have doubts in mind for further clarification, feel free to contact me and I'm more than happy to share my perspective on working culture/environment between SG vs Aus.

Is that's all?

is fully booked, is not unavailable. rolleyes.gif
i got a tip for u. check the site during night time/midnight/or just random time, sometime people cancel their appointment, or they change the dates of their appointment.
so the slot will be open up,

if u r lucky u may find up coming slots.  good luck. thumbsup.gif
*
What happen if you keep changing or missing the date of appointment for more than 3 times? Website state "you are not allowed to make further appointment" and full stop.
Not related to me, but interested to find out cause this is funny.

Would like to check the traveling options, I'm from KL and got an interview appointment in morning 9a.m at SG. Is the train service from KL - SG still available ?  Or mid night bus available ?
*
If you take midnight bus the you are expected to reach SG at around 5am.

And why don't you suggest for Skype interview? Nowadays it's quite common though.
