Hi All,

I have a question
what is the best way transfer money from Malaysia to Singapore
I recently sell my Malaysia house and have cash around RM100k

I wish to transfer the money to Singapore to paid off my CC oustand bill and loans

Please advise

i know that DBS bank transfer from SG to MY is no charge but i google around did not found any best way transfer from my to sg

You could opt for telegraphic transfer (subject to limits) from Malaysia bank to Singapore bank.
Think your best bet is from MBB to Maybank Singapore. Dont think there's any free transfer.

Cheapest way is to bring cash over in person, but not recommended.
Or exchange the MYR with your Singapore colleagues/friends/family.

4-5k SGD is because i am a Malaysian or it is standard Singapore rate? Like this better work in Malaysia - if lucky get into oil and gas can earn the same conversion rate value in Malaysia.
4-5k SGD after tax, feels like quite tight if plan to rent a 2-bedroom flat and bring family there...

Oil and gas are not doing any better now. Firms are retrenching and restructuring..
Before bringing your wife and kids over, your earnings should be above 5K to be able to get dependent passes for them?

my first daughter PR approval took 2 months (3 years ago)
my 2nd daughter PR took 8 months for her PR to be approved last week (maybe cause they bo song i still din convert?)  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
my colic applied for his son a week before mine and was approved after 6 months.
so it is pretty much random.

Yup I was the one who posted here to ask for advise on how to handle my clown boss who binds people down for 3 years after getting PR while underpaying the shit outta you where you are unable to find jobs.

Funny shit is how the government handle all these passes. Stating the goddann minimum requirement pay for an S pass or E pass but freaking employer clowns can yet still apply and get those shitty passes even though the minimum wage for the pass is not satisfied at all. Long way to the minimum requirement. Well done

Why the angst? You can find other job?
You know the need for the government to put the minimum salary for the benefits of its citizens right?

Couldn't find... minimum salary for the benefit of the citizens? How does my employer not fulfilling the minimum salary to get my E pass benefit the citizens?

Why did you accept the job then?

Umm...that would mean it is not true, since it is not 3k

Depends on what type of saving accounts.
Since you have maxed out or almost maxed out the 60K in OCBC 360, where else do you park your funds if you do not do any sort of investment?
