My boss ask me to sign an undertaking letter, one of the sentences is "I undertake to perform the jobs assigned to me properly and shall indemnity xxx against any cost, expenses, loss, etc. In relation to my performance"

Is there any clause under the employment act I can prevent from signing this?

i am currently holding EP, and already tendered my resignation letter, I have been working in this company for 2 years, may I know how long does my employer can hold my salary for tax clearance purpose? MOM website only mentioned must be paid within 7 days but tax clearance is special case and did not mention anything about it.
