In fact, yesterday I just flew in from MY to SG, yes you can't buy hard liquor, but the DFS people tell me they absorb the duty for wines / beers (confirm again when u ask).

Bought a longchamp bag also from Malaysia, didn't have problem on the duty side.

The only problem is cigarette, cannot buy from Malaysia to SG.
