It's all non-event .... the futures was volatile but after the acceptance speech made by Trump,
all is calm again when the market opens.

Now, it's back to regular business.

Going to nimble some here.. XLE wants to go higher now.

Yes, I know. It's above that 50ma line (69.30), which is bullish.
More bulls will join in later. XLE sometimes move ahead of Crude price, which is what I like because
it follows the general market.

Furthermore, all is calm now with Trump acceptable speech and Clinton's concession.
Market will carry on.

The only thing unknown is interest rate (next month) and Opec meeting at the end of the month.

Just a little here and there and hang on to them.

Meanwhile, took my profits in XLE for this week. It is going against the grain. Oil is actually down.
Perhaps just riding along the wave from Dow and SP500 or Trump victory.
It won't be long until reality may set in.

2.5 weeks till next OPEC meeting.. if there is no indication that OPEC will agree, more downside to come.
Hoping, something may leak out prior to that to let us know which way it will go.

Crude finally give up more.. same goes for XLE. Lucky sold all yesterday. Knew this rally couldn't last.
Furthermore, it's Friday, US bond market closed for Veteran Day. Traders taking cash home for weekend.

Been peeking over at KLCI.. what a volatile ride. Ringgit getting smashed up.

Oh.. wow. Oil really beaten up here.

I think so.. that $40 has to hold and come back up otherwise,
it will be a very deep dive to $26. The entire market could sink with it.

So far, the current price is dangling at 200ma level. It is shaky here.

I find FBMKLCI attractive now at near 52 weeks low.

We're now near mid 42 for crude.. yet this thing doesn't want to bounce yet.

Intraday may hit., just need another -15~16 pts downside.
Let see how tomorrow brings. More fear.. more selling by retail investors.
Maybe Bersih 5 rally may trigger more selling to let it hit the target.

Oil is coming back from the 42.20 lows, so we're good so far. It could be short covering too.
But, let see how it closes later.

As long it is above 43, bulls still got chance to slow build strength and form a base here.

It's really crazy and bullish move for crude and amazing to see UWTI+DWTI move in double digits percentage in opposite direction. That gap open really leave little chance to escape unharm if you're on the wrong side. You guys are brave!
For me, safer to ride XLE with a little options play...

Right now, we're back to the middle again at 45.xx.
Let's toss a coin here to see if it wants to go to 50s or back to low 40s.

Right now, it seems to defy logic..

We got API build, EIA build, strong dollar and general market also pulling back, yet crude still holding green.
All on hopes that OPEC+Russia+<some-conspired-rig attack> will work.
Not liking this..

I think it gonna give up. I will cash out half now while ahead.
