On another note, the broader US general market, this "Trump" rally been so relentlessly for past 30 days.

It just take 30 days for the Dow to gain 15% for what it took Malaysia KLCI 5 years to gain (or loss depending when you enter).
Even now, KLCI is down 3% YTD.

bursa... i think it hasn't bottomed yet.

us bond yield's still rising, mgs will continue to be sold.
fed hike is now becoming fed hikes.
weak rm and new fx rulings not helping bursa.
high inflation looming with imminent hefty petrol price increase on jan 1.
consumer spending curtailed, will spend less.
outlook is not looking good.



oil... after 18% gain in 2 weeks, should be time for some profit taking, watch fed moves...

hmm....so this tax rate hike + lower corporate tax ==> massive businesses moving back from overseas to US? If so, world stock market could be very bearish for a while and US market would rally strong continues.....now the only hope for neutralize effect is to count on China's regional strategic.

if the tax reforms go thru, things will get very tough for some markets, bursa included.

I am not sure if can count on China. To be blunt, they don't put anything in if they know they get little in return.
They're even more shrewd than the Americans. They will come in and gobble up everything, lock in their profits
