State-sponsored hackers who unleashed a digital bomb in key parts of Saudi Arabia’s computer networks over the last two weeks damaged systems at the country’s central bank, known as the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, according to two people briefed on an ongoing investigation of the breach.

The central bank said in a statement late Friday that its systems hadn’t been breached and that it has continuous surveillance to protect against cyberthreats.

The attacks, which afflicted at least eight government entities, used a computer-killing malware known as Shamoon that is linked to Iran, the two people said. They had the potential to inflict damage on targets across several critical sectors, including finance and transportation.

Finally, we got some bears for Oil tonight. But, wish for more so that we can see sub $50 again so that I can reload.

The rally for XLE being so strong last week and I've jumped off the train too early.
Missed about 4 points off.

price will likely stick around current levels until dec 10's opec-non opec meet.

we should see some major moves then.

Seeing price squeeze formation.. higher low. Lower high.

The question is will it break up or down?

it does look like it will break either way in a big way.

all waiting on dec 10.

which makes it high risk-high reward to hold positions now.

i still have some sco, will probably clear by fri.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration said on Tuesday it expected domestic crude oil production for 2016 and 2017 to fall by less than previously expected. Preliminary production figures released Wednesday showed U.S. output was little changed in the last week.

XLE damn bullish.. even when Oil price drop 2%, it still shows almost 1% gain for oil/energy stocks.

I hope it won't be long now. More OPEC members will lie thru their teeth and keep over producing,
we'll see big bears coming.

haha. xle had been one of my fav in watchlist. but afyer hitting 72 i gave up as i thot it was way too high just like nymex at 52. wow...i last saw xle was near 76! did i see it right!!!

Yup.. your eyes are not deceiving you. I missed that 4 points run after jumping out at 72.
Damn bullish despite oil pulling back. Oil services sector and Oil price diverging. I think the Oil companies are
being bought up because of the ETF indexing, not necessarily because fundamentally they're good bargain now.
They're expensive now in terms of PE and fwd PE. IMO, they are trading as if Oil has recovered back above $70.

as for me, I am still of the opinion that crude is over optimistic. I cant see any reasons for it to climb for weeks. strange!

Brazil opt out of non opec cut.
Nigeria exempted from cut.
Iran just got shell to reassess oil fields to boost production.
US shale oil producers ready to pounce.

I dont see how it can go much higher.
Coming down maybe very fast.
But of course, the volatility may spike.
We watch dec 10.
