I think knee-jerk reaction again. Dip down to last week low, then came back half. But, not over yet.
One more week to go for election. It's may be a wild ride. Any indication Clinton is losing and Trump gaining before the final E-day on the following Tuesday.. bam. 100~200 points swing easy.
Get some cash ready.

Earnings News for Oil Giants QUOTE BP third-quarter profit nearly halves but soundly beats consensus
BP has reported net profit for the third quarter of $1.62 billion, trouncing consensus expectations of $686 million, but still only delivering around half of last year's result for the period.
Production for the quarter was in line with the consensus figure of 2.11 million barrels of oil equivalent per day while net debt at the British oil and gas major rose to $32.4 billion versus $25.6 billion a year ago.
Earnings per share of 8.56 cents came in far ahead of broker estimates of 3.31 cents and BP is set to maintain its dividend at 10 cents per share. Shares fell 1.3 percent as the European session opened on Tuesday. QUOTE Oil giant Shell swings to quarterly profit but warns that 'outlook remains uncertain'
Shell's earnings on a current cost of supplies (CCS) basis attributable to shareholders (excluding identified items) reached $1.4 billion in the third quarter, after contracting $6.1 billion in the same period a year ago. CCS is a common accounting measure for commodity-reliant businesses and Shell noted that the increase was due to lower operating costs and increased production.
Its earnings (excluding identified items) came in at $2.8 billion, compared with $2.4 billion for the third quarter 2015. This was an increase of 18 percent and better than a consensus estimate of $1.7 billion from the company.

Earnings News QUOTE Pfizer — The drugmaker missed estimates by a penny a share, with adjusted profit of 61 cents per share. Revenue was in line with estimates. Pfizer also lowered its full-year forecast, due to the discontinuation of a lipid-lowering drug that will shave an estimated four cents per share off current-quarter earnings. QUOTE Tenet Healthcare — Tenet reported quarterly profit of 16 cents per share, missing estimates by three cents a share. The hospital operator's revenue did exceed forecasts. The company also lowered its full-year revenue and profit forecasts.
QUOTE Coach — The handbag maker matched estimates with adjusted quarterly profit of 45 cents per share. Revenue came in below forecasts. Coach did maintain its prior full-year forecast. This post has been edited by zacknistelrooy: Nov 1 2016, 08:56 PM

Help help help! Any sifu owning Alcoa shares here? How does the split into 2 companies work eh? I was holding 100 shares of AA yesterday, which the price was around 28+. Today, it was split into 2 companies, AA and ARNC. So seems like in my trading account, I'm now owning 100 shares of ARNC instead and 0 AA. The problem is ARNC is trading at 21+ now....means effectively I'm taking a loss from $28 to $21 ??? (

eia data will be.... better or worse?!
this morning, many comments saying same thing... opec talk-talk kings-no action, oil be <40, stocks will fall big time, trump may win, etc.
some stocks and etf's have been falling for weeks.
with the volatility now, there is a great sense of fear for sure.
we'll just have to see what we will see.

Last week, I think EIA report was opposite of API, right? Not sure if Oil will go under $40 but we're just about $5-$6 away. Supposedly, $40 should be the new floor.
