I never got connected to hypptv since I first subscribed to Unifi years ago. Only now I noticed they itemised the charge for Unifi & hypptv. And apparently there's no wifi enabled set top box for Unifi. I'm getting out as soon as my contract expires.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 13 2016, 11:55 PM) UniFi and HyppTV come as package, you cannot leave out HyppTV. I have never installed too but still forced to pay RM 30 every month. Well that just sucks. Imagine paying for something we never use. I dunno about you but my apartment's wiring configuration cannot cater to both internet & cable tv in the same position. I can change the present TV position but that would require me to change other stuffs too.

QUOTE(DecaPix @ Sep 14 2016, 09:36 AM) There's a thing called power line adapter. for instant: http://www.tp-link.com.my/products/list-18.htmlI know but cannot. Power line adapter depends on direct plug connection & not extension plug which I use for the modem side. And besides, TM advises using the LAN4 port as the dedicated hyppptv connection. I'm welcome to suggestion on how configuration can be done using power line adapter or any other method. One side with wall telephone jack connection to modem using extended plug to power the modem/router. The opposite side with TV, direct wall plug & astro connection.

QUOTE(jolmy @ Sep 14 2016, 02:25 PM) get a powerline adaptor with pass through. Plug the powerline adaptor to your wall socket mains, then the extension plug to the powerline pass through. OK, will check it out. Thanks
