You don't care about the speed.

Some customers said 30Mbps is not enough.

Some complaint that at night very slow compare during the day. blink.gif blink.gif

From inside source unifi 200mbps otw. Might be Sep 2016

Anyone here tried using TP Link powerline ? How does it work ? Intrested getting it to share network via power socket. How realiable is this ?
*
Hi, regarding to your inquiry

The powerline works only on single line wiring.

It won't work in the house with 3 phase wiring.

The powerline uses electricity to transmit the data from the main powerline that connected by router to the second powerline.

You have pair it and is ready to use.

For better accurate speed via Powerline, I advise you use the wall socket instead of extension.

It will affect the speed and stability.

Yeah. 1Gbps speed in SG is so good. Hope Malaysia can do that also. #PlsBringMalaysiaUpToSpeed
*
Are you praying for 1Gbps?
If 1Gbps is good, but there will be wasting money of changing new router that support 1Gbps.
Then we need additional USB AC Adapter for achieving accurate speed via Wi-Fi.
1Gbps use for download and you have nothing to do with it, you will feel boring about that.
A few member said it's good to have for heavy downloads everyday non-stop.
Streaming 4K video need that.
1Gbps might be very expensive.
Customers will complain why Wi-Fi cannot get accurate ha. bangwall.gif bangwall.gif
They have to stick on LAN for full and crazy speed.

Singapore now got 10Gbps already lo....Malaysia????....Haiz.....

10Gbps? bangwall.gif bangwall.gif
How can? For those who need business, need more speed.
Suitable for heavy gamers with using Android TV to watch MyIPTV.
Even 100Mbps also not enough?
Need more speed for what?
Need to check what is the monthly price.
Since TM launch first 100Mbps for Home Broadband. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
Before that, Unifi have 100Mbps for Unifibiz only that restaurants used to subscribe with.
What if Malaysia have 1Tbps Internet? What will you do?

Wow... how fast are they doing their upgrade. Not like our very unique unifi.
*
Don't you know that TIME Fibre launch awesome plan.
The first maximum is 500Mbps half of 1Gbps.
Too bad that TM won't launch more high speed Internet.

QUOTE(mztang52 @ Jul 17 2016, 12:10 AM)
Yes, I am hoping for 1Gbps. I will not need to waste any money for changing a router that can supply me to that speed because the ISP should do that to us. Download stuff and watching video needs that kind of speed so that we can done things in a short period.
*
For 1Gbps suitable for 100 people and above to surf the net.
I feel request for that awesome speed. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

We need 1Gbps for those following below.
1. For using multiple devices with download, stream and gaming at once.
2. Using for guest and our family. Like we visit our grandparents house.
3. Need to download more than 50GB files.
4. No lagging on YouTube.
5. No need waste time.

I was not able to access internet in last Tuesday (12/07) and Thursday (14/07) within 8pm to 11pm @ Seri Kembangan.
There was no IPv4 address allocated when I checked from TM stock wifi router, only have IPv6 address but still not able to access internet.  rclxub.gif

I complained to TM CS and  go through troubleshooting with them, yet still the same problem..
I tried again by 11:30pm later and all back to normal. This symptom happened again on two days later, not sure why.  confused.gif
TM will send technician come over in tomorrow to check this problem, cause he said there are few  unifi user in my area experiencing similar problem.  hmm.gif

If anything still persist, try calling them.
If they didn't show, complaint here

Well... I already done all the troubleshooting myself for that two hours.
- reboot wifi router numerous times (including waiting for 5-10 minutes each time rebooted)
- reconfigure unifi PPPOE profile from fresh (*I have password)
- get TMCS remotely reset/kill session (also require wait for 5-10 minutes)

Somehow problem still the same, finally it work after 11:30PM, not sure what was going on as it auto-work correctly. No problem on Friday, Saturday and today.
Thanks for sharing this, I did complain numbers of time to MCMC during my streamyx package in the past. smile.gif

anyone experienced this problem?

Hi, did you try to restart the Wi-Fi Router.
Do test via LAN for accurate speed. If LAN is accurate. Do this following below.
Which Devices and which Wi-Fi Router that you used?
Make sure to check the Wireless Settings.
Check your WPA encryption is AES or TKIP.
If it is set to TKIP, change to AES.
TKIP encryption will cause your network connection slow.
Try changing the channels if necesary.
Try 1, 6 or 11.
Change the mode to (Mixed B+G+N) or (N only)

Not funny advertisement, it just that the CS don't want anything happen again, so they called the technician to fix before he went home.
Moral of the video - Avoid getting more temper.

If LAN is accurate. There might be problem with Wi-Fi.

Wireless speed not accurate.

Consider change the options.

Encryption TKIP ---> AES

Change the Channel to 1, 6 or 11.
