Hi all,

Can I know what is the problem of this?

I try to visit the website: http://www.mi.com/my/
But most of the time, I cannot reach it.
All browsers that I use give me this error message:
    Invalid URL
The requested URL "http://%5bNo%20Host%5d/my/", is invalid.
    Reference #9.f561b3a.1468605994.205b1f2c
I have no problem ping test www.mi.com though.
May I know is there a problem with my setting?

I'm using Google's DNS, if that helps?

EDIT:
I want to add that, I said "most of the time" because sometimes I can visit the page without problem, this error is random. Most of the time I got this error with the site.

Other devices are OK? unsure.gif

Just tried, other device (phone) is ok, I think it's my PC's ipv6 screwed up? Just now try again on PC, cannot visit the site, then temporary disable ipv6 from within Windows, can visit the site. Enable ipv6 back on, the problem seems gone for a while now. rclxub.gif

I'm afraid there is wrong setting at my side? cry.gif

Actually I was using IPv6 to try and just tried, also no issue. smile.gif

Could be my PC or router's setting then... cry.gif

I don't know how many other sites I will not able to visit, just tried again with this problematic http://www.mi.com/ in my case, still stated "Invalid URL". Then I go to Windows' Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Ethernet Properties and uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), I can open the site immediately. If I check (tick) back this protocol, I can still open the site, but after maybe 10 minutes or so, I got Invalid URL again. bangwall.gif

If that's the case, then just disable IPv6, no big effect for now.

I just did a test at http://ipv6-test.com/, everything seems to be good except those 2 items in Hostname. What should I do to rectify this?

It will not work for HyppTV. I just want to make it as an Android Box only.
*
Wow... can point me to the guide on how to set it up as Android Box? smile.gif
I also have this type of box, and like your case, since activated, I then pack it up straight until now. laugh.gif

Read through this thread will give you some tips: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3594298&hl=
Even I haven't tried it out myself, will do it tonight, I don't think it is difficult since it comes with Google Play Store. biggrin.gif

Oh...! Many thanks fruitie icon_rolleyes.gif
I saved the thread for future reference.

By the way, I also saved this page (in Chinese) because I think this is the same box that TM provided?

QUOTE(OKLY @ Sep 5 2016, 02:18 PM)
Got this in my e-mail today. Anyone who is on the promo RM179 for 30mbps tried this? Not sure if it'll later change the monthly fee back to RM199 if I make the switch to Ruby pack.

I really want to know the answer too... biggrin.gif

I wonder why they use the word "SWITCH"?

Like, I was forced to take up Aneka pack which the channels are not my liking, if I can simply switch it to Ruby pack then I will love to have it. icon_rolleyes.gif

[EDIT:]
OKLY, you can go ahead and click the button in your email, fill in your particulars then before you submit, there's T&C in pdf file format, you can read the details there.

Here are a few important points for your reference biggrin.gif

1. HYPPTV MOONCAKE FESTIVAL RUBY PACK MIGRATION CAMPAIGN 2016
This Campaign is organized by TM to encourage HyppTV Aneka Pack and Varnam Pack subscribers to migrate to HyppTV Ruby Pack.

2. CAMPAIGN PERIOD
The Campaign will start from 1 September 2016 until 15 September 2016 (“Campaign Period”). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, TM reserves the right to change the end date of the Campaign Period to an earlier or a later date.

3. ELIGIBILITY
The eligible subscribers for this Campaign are as follows:
(i) Existing subscriber of HyppTV Aneka Pack; and
(ii) Existing subscriber of HyppTV Varnam Pack.
(iii) Existing Unifi Advance or Unifi Pro subscribers.
(iv) Customers who received the invitation to migrate to Ruby Pack either via E-Mail and/or SMS.

FYI, I've already submit the "migration" request. icon_rolleyes.gif

From the poster, it already mentioned no additional cost.
If they charge 189 (exclude gst per month) , then we can actually complain to CFM etc.

I am currently paying 179 also+free call, requested to switch via online form. see how it goes.
*
Mine also RM179, but NO FREE CALL cry.gif

By the way, I already submitted to Ruby Pack migration, still no news and my OCC page still stated Aneka pack, but I'm now testing it, don't know why I can watch tnN channel but the rest (other Ruby Pack channels) only for preview... hmm.gif I don't know if tvN was available previously as I never use it after the activation until now.

I also noticed from my OCC page, the Contract Duration stated "1 Year", but I remember it should be 2 years hmm.gif

can change from aneka pack to ruby pack ke?
*
Yes, like what fruitie mentioned, I received email for this offer, no fees no changed. I don't know if you did not opt for their email offer service, if they will send SMS instead for the offer? The email were sent as "TM Takeout" with some offer all the time.

I just received their SMS saying my request were completed. Upon checking, the promised channels are available. smile.gif
