Players stat sharing:

We are setting a players stat sharing in the main page. (Overview) This will shows the current game progress, matches played, win/kill data etc. Kindly note the purpose of this is not for competitive ranking, but for progress sharing among gamers. In such we will use the initial alphabet of the players PSN name to determine the sequence.

This used to be exclusively for Xbox (like unchartered for PS3/4) But this time they are releasing it for Xbox, PS4 and PC. Almost wanted to get Xbox just for this game. Guess I don't have to now. It's coming to PS4!

Didn't do so well. They should have went multi platform but lucky confined to one platform only makes the fallout from the poor game minimal.

Let's hope they improve better for the sequel. Liked huge ass mecha from the CE though.

Why they changed their decision to release on PS4? I tot most of the fund to develop the game is by Microsoft?

Adam glad they finally decided to launch this on ps4. Their player base will be easily doubled here. Been wanting to pilot a mecha since front mission time. The multiplayer will be enormous. Expect lots of rocket and ricochet flying by.

Finally its coming, used to play first titanfall, got addicted and played for whole day whole night😆 Can't wait!

Used to play Titanfall 1 on PC since day 1, I played till 2-3 am almost everyday back then and I even reached Gen10 lvl 50 (max level) in few months

Titanfall gave away all maps a few months after all were officially released, no reason why they won't switched to this model completely as they won't want to segregate the community.

Titanfall was fun on xbox/PC, but ultimately when you have the likes of Battlefield (with it's ridiculously gigantic battle grounds), COD (with it's fan base) and other games+VR experiences coming, they'll need to bolster Titanfall 2 as much as they can.

is it just me or what ? in single player trailer BT the robot sound like peter cullen?

Somehow this game reminds me of Gears of War. Despite its a great game, but it was limited on Xbox only. Lots of us PS user never get to try it out.

Same for titanfall 1. But since it is released to PS, the community and player base will somehow start giving this game a try. I been following titanfall 1 from youtube and the gameplay was breathtaking. It was almost the front mission that we never had for a long time

Not to mention the smooth fps and titan/infantry weapons variety. We should do 2 man infantry task force to take out enemy titan. Open his hatch and drop a grenade inside. Let it burn

If that is insane then I'm with you bro. Love all the fps genre and I play bf as well. But the moment I knew titanfall incorporated titan class mecha into a fps game running at such smooth fps and well designed mechanism/graphics, I followed titan fall since xbox time via youtube, thinking should I get the console just for the game. (Which I didn't)

Now it's the second sequel is here on ps4. For a mecha sucker who played front mission, armored core and likes battlefield series since the early days, this is a nostalgic dream come true

I look forward to co-op with the gang October.

Titanfall is like Xenogears, in Battlefield styled.

Lol didnt know that the first Titanfall dun have single player mode. I usually trained myself to familiar with the game mechanics via single player mode before going MP. If not, everytime kena headshot only just after respawn.

Depends on what games you played, xenogears, front mission, armored core, COD advance warefare, I am sure you will be able to relate to this game easily.

Am only curious the gameplay demo I saw was smooth. Wonder if the actual game will be as smooth also.

should be no problem. if xbone can run the first one smoothly, the ps4 should breeze right through the sequel unless respawn somehow screws it up

Am loving the part where the pilots jumps into the Titan and start initialing all the controls like a plane pilot. Mechanical sounds running, battle screens forming in front of the pilot. System online. Ready to engage.

When they eject its like a MIG Jet fighter pulling the eject steering and ejects out. I would be imagining during battle, sarjan, eject, eject now!

Nuclear Ejection is the best.

From what I saw, the story mode seems to evolve btw the pilot and the TItan. I think if we play the story mode and see the relationship builds between the Titan and the pilot, might develop some sentimental attachment to the Titans unlike the first episode.

Titanfall 2 UPDATE: Respawn talk Xbox One and PS4 free DLC and new Titans



The development team confirmed during E3 that they would be making Titanfall 2 DLC free on all platforms, a big deal in an age where players have had to buy the extra maps and gear included in expansions.

Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella has now clarified his commitment to offering new modes and maps for free and how they hope to do this.

“We still want to provide post launch content because people want it, but it’s not free to do,” Zampella told Gamesrader.

“If we’re going to support the game that cost money.

"we haven’t got everything solved yet so that’s why it’s really hard to talk about it”.

It appears that fans can expect other microtransactions, such as skins and cosmetics, to be one of the ways in which Titanfall 2 could sustain free content.

The Titanfall 2 team have also teased more on the new six mechs coming to the game, two of which were showcased at EA Play.


Here are the three we know about so far:



SCORCH: Short for “Scorched Earth”, Scorch’s primary offensive and defensive weapon is fire. Blunt and direct, Scorch can chain its abilities to force enemies out of cover, or trap them to deal maximum damage.
•Primary Weapon: T-203 Thermite Launcher – Lethal, single shot thermite projectiles that set ablaze anything within range.

Abilities:

FIREWALL
•The name says it all - fires a directed wall of thermite in the enemies direction.

TACTICAL: INCENDIARY TRAP
•Deploys flammable gas canisters which can be triggered by the slightest spark.

DEFENSIVE: HEAT SHIELD
•Liquifies incoming artillery while dealing damage to nearby enemies.

CORE: FLAME CORE
•Creates a giant wave of fire that destroys anything in its path


ION: Laser-focused, the Ion is all about power. With a central energy system that fuels all of its offensive and defensive abilities, the Ion is an effective, tactical force on The Frontier.
•Primary Weapon: Splitter Rifle – Rapid single-fire energy rifle with the ability to leverage the Ion’s central energy system to fire 3 deadly shots at once.

Abilities:

LASER SHOT
•Shoulder-mounted, this lethal beam cuts through anything in its way.

TACTICAL: TRIPWIRE
•Laser triggered explosive mines.

DEFENSIVE: VORTEX SHIELD
•Absorb incoming fire and redirect it back at the enemy.

CORE: LASER CORE
•A deadly oversized laser beam fired from the chest of the Ion and capable of stopping anything it its path.

Ronin: Ronin is a hit and run specialist. He can do a lot of damage in short bursts, but his fragility makes it suboptimal to stay in range for long. His speed, combined with Arc Wave’s ability to slow, gives him the tools to get into and out of any fight.
•Primary Weapon: Leadwall Shotgun – High power, low capacity shotgun that bounces off walls.

Abilities:

ARC WAVE
•Swiping his sword across the ground, Ronin creates an electric wave that damages and slows enemies hit by it.

TACTICAL: PHASE DASH
•Ronin dashes in a given direction, temporarily phasing out of the world, avoid incoming fire and creating the element of surprise.

DEFENSIVE: SWORD BLOCK
•Reduces damage taken. Can be held indefinitely.

CORE: SWORD CORE
•Empowers his melee and sword abilities, and gives access to new sword attacks.

will there be a beta available? really hype for this game , but i know it might end up disappointment.

Don't see any news on open beta yet. But seeing the gameplay from the first titanfall and positive remarks from ppl who played and enjoyed the first episode, I hope this is a game worth our investment. Time will tell. 3 months to deployment, lieutenant.

So, exactly how many of you gonna get this on ps4? Playing 1st one on xbone, so i thought gonna get this on ps4, tried to pursue my ps4 friends to get this but none were interested

When the first game came out, I wanna buy XboxOne after saw the gameplay trailer, but had to forget my intention due to budget constrain and other commitment(currently owned a PS4 that time. I almost wanna bought XBoxOne again after hearing that they will release the second one, but luckly no need as it will be multiplat including PC. Pre ordered and couldn't wait for the game to release.

Yup, the only reason i get xbone 1st was this, titanfall and ryse som of rome, both for me didn't let me down

I dont really mind playing TF2 on xbone but i want to play in a community where i belong, not to play with US gamers

I will be getting it on PS4. The PS community are still new to the Titanfall game. Mainly because 1st episode it was Xbox exclusive, and PS community seldom discuss game like Gears of War or titanfall wwhich is not reachable.

But personally for mecha and fps fans like Front Mission, COD and and Battlefield, once they try it, it will be easily to get attached to the game. Watching pilots enter a Titan cockpit, escorting behind the titan, getting onto rooftop to take enemy titan down, holding a anti-titan missile launcher to get to the right spot to get a clean shot in smooth 60 fps graphic, hiding inside building debris silently while an enemy titan walks by. I can imagine the multiple encounter situation that can happen in coop.

I am glad the 2nd episode is coming out straight in PS4. Other games doesn't matter anymore atm. Im gunning for this

Shouldn't be a problem to get a local community for casual gameplay for PS4. Like Overwatch, the game wasn't promoted much but when near launch, there were lots of Malaysian lowyat players who were gaming almost everyday together with not enough room for the party.

Its good to help create some awareness so more ppl can start to know about TTF2. Will be making a player list in the main page soon. Adding 4-6 players should be enough to get you a small party to raid Titanfall everynight d

Yes. Usually its on Beta testing day it will appear. 3 days starting Friday. Not sure how they do the updates with PSN store though. I will leave that to them to manage.

hahah. will try out the titanfall beta this weekend and then got a battlefield beta end of august. they both come out at around the same time so its one or the other hahah. but im not a very big fan of future warfare so we will see. but looks so good dunno what to do

if you want to bump in with more Malaysian better get PS4 ver. coz most Xbox user tend to switch games 3-6 month after release. you'll find very few hardcore user or new player after tht. deswai certain fully MP games I buy on PS4 rather on Xbox. Even though I spend most of my time on Xbox coz I love my elite controller & love multitasking while watching youtube

Bought the original on PC first, then Xbone (When I bought the console) and eventhough I barely played the game(s) I didn't feel it a waste of money to buy because of how different it is to other FPSs.

Now getting pretty much only on PS4 though, since my clan mates are primarily on this platform.

Shipping cost was the issue. If you preorder much earlier, there seem to be an error of shipping fee of USD13.90+. The removed the item and changed the price back in June. Now the shipping fee alone is freaking 250usd.
