hahah. you mean the mono earpiece and mic? speaker mana boleh use to talk! jk jk bro. im using an old samsung handsfree kit. but internal wayar all exposed already. i also dunno how it works. i also got a over ear sony headset (Pulse Elite i think.) which is awesome for party chat as can adjust volume of chat or game on the headphone itself. and mute mic button and such. but a bit hot.

if that mic not working for you just get a normal handsfree, im sure got lying around somewhere in your home as most phone will gib for free. i think they all work (except for apple headsets. apple headsets give a weird buzzing, high pitch noise. so most dont work anymore as sony cut them off somehow. amin for that. ).

if you have a mixamp or AV receiver or just a really really long headphone(cable) that you can connect to your TV, you can set your ps4 dualshock 4 headset to merely act as a microphone and force the chat audio to come out of your tv speaker (or mixamp or receiver)

It's what I do.

leave the earpiece dangling, and clip the mic to your shirt. works fine, and can easily amp up the volume at any time if voice chat is too soft.

hope TV won't black out ... being happening very frequent lately. Too much titanfall i guess.

i only got a barebone TV and PS4 , don't own any sort of amp. i still owned a soundDSS not sure it will work with ps4 or not.
never plug into it.

i still have the PS3 wireless headset the sound work , not sure the Mic work or not.
i think i lose my dongle.

Personal advice. Not to sound paranoid, but research studies has shown that ppl who once used Walkman earphone, or recent smartphone earphone everyday are more prone to hearing lost. That's why i don't insert my earphone into the ear 100%. Your eardrum need resting moments also if you are gaming for more than 3 hours.

A decent RM18 earphone from any brands (except apple) should be sufficient for good quality chatting and filters out your TV noise.

Unlocked and tried the Ronin nose paint Megalodon yesterday. Nasty

i use alot of headphone during work , 1 for music , 1 for telephone, recently i don't put headphone when gaming unless it a very immersive game like TLOU , or titanfall 2 SP.

i save up for the chat in Titanfall2.

pulse elite actually waste of money. but i bought it for RM350-400 when i was working in China 3 years ago. actually never use the pulse function as its very annoying for me ahhaha. so just use normal 7.1 sound + mic.

the problem is yeah... if you lose the damn dongle.... really quite cibai sony for making a dongle which is so panjang... at least a smaller one. last time i had it on my ps4 and son ran by and knocked it. lucky didnt patah...

I think Legion, Ronin, Northstar has good face paint too. IMHO. The rest will have to discover more. But u will have to stick to one titan for quite some time. No issue coz i like Ronin's playstyle. High mobility with critical striking blows, but low fragile hp. its a scorpio build

Ion paint suckssss..got few with badass paint but the color was not striking enough to bring out the beauty of the paint..sadddd

The second end game of this game is cosmetic. But easier for ppl to label and target you.. If meet enemy sure jialat lol.

My encounter with scourge is one time when he drops a gas canister into the banking room that I was camping. The horror of watching the canister releasing gas with its sound effect, follow by another grenade canister that lights up the whole room into a larva...you can imagine ppl coming out of the room engulf in fire and screaming as they walked out.

Strong titan in creating strategic fire mites barrier and devastating ulti damage. Esp the flame shield damages. But not easy to master.

the ps3 version got annoying sound when connecting it to ps4, keen hearing a "deep deep" sound when connecting using the dongle.
luckily didn't buy pulse elite.

do sony sell those replacement dongle?

i dunno. they should. but who knows hahah. dongle price maybe half the price of buying new headphones hahah.
