Judging from the trailers, apart from using the Frostbite engine there's not much to be excited about.

They focused too much on the stuff going on outside the pitch rather than on the pitch.

Not really interested in an NBA2K-like Career mode at this point.

Maybe because I'm not a United fan, the trailer didn't help I suppose.

Fantastic game, but if you want to save $$$ do buy it from G2A guys.

$65SGD for my copy - totally worth it compared to $69.90 USD @ Origin. I've tried buying Polish version last year for FIFA16, RM180 I got it for, but the constant need to change the locale.big when there is an update is frustrating as hell.

u play pc online last time? how was the players? is it easy to find online? lag?

Last year I believe I paid RM164 for the PC version and the year before that it was around RM140.

Too bad the Mexican store prices are now $59 as well.

You bought disc or digital?
I think due to the dropped value of MYR compared to USD, it is pretty hard to get that price again.
I also paid around RM150 for Xbox360 version last year thanks to a massive offer during that time, but couldn't find any place that offers price less than RM200 for FIFA17.

Yes, I agree with that. Before this I could find Fifa 16 for xbox one and xbox360 preorder around AUD$69 easily, but now, everywhere is AUD$89.
Hopefully ea access will add Fifa17 into their vault early like Fifa16 (April) so that I can resell it with a good price.

hey guys. ive been playing this on ps4, n im planning to play it on pc since ive sold my ps4.

my question is how easy it was to find players in both seasons n ultimate teams online in fifa 16? i know it was pretty easy to find in ps4, but i have the assumption that there r way less people playing it on pc.

I think FUT has a relatively healthy number of players. People seem to be drawn to it than other modes for some reason.

Seasons is a different story though, the higher you go up the longer you wait for opponents in my experience.

I play on PC and I've seen my friends play it on PS4. I can tell you the difference is huge, whether it's Ultimate or Season.

As you said yourself, it was pretty easy to find in ps4. Having been experiencing that, you will be in for a disappointment. The smaller the population, the harder it is to find a smooth non-lagging game too. You might find yourself constantly battling a network lag every 4 or 5 games.

And way less people is accurate. For instance on Seasons, there would be about 2k gamers at a time. I'm sure you can tell me how much more is on ps?

Don't get me wrong, you will enjoy the game all the same, but prepare mentally for all these downsides.

i tried FIFA 15 in PC, quite easy to win FUT DIV 1, coz in Div 1, lots of coin farmers (all bronze team), they just quite the game and you'll get the win immediately.

where as in FIFA 16, i played in PS4, I've been 104 times of season still do not win Div 1 title.

You will find PS4 players alot and easy to get games, but remember, the tougher opponents will be.

downloaded the demo for pc. unfortunately, my pc does not even meet the minimum requirement

Tested the demo on xbox one. Its graphic is significantly upgraded from Fifa16. It is very spectacular.
Not surprise it is very demanding in pc spec.
Can't wait to play the full game.

I sold my Fifa 16 for RM100 last june, while the new one is about RM230. Is it possible to get it at RM100 (60% off) in nov/dec? I expect it to be higher because the used game still valued at RM100 in june.

I'm still a bit worried that they would dumb down the gameplay when release comes.

Last time the FIFA 15/16 demo was also quite good but it went downhill after release.

I think it would be very easy to find opponent if you play it early regardless which platform you are on because everyone will starts from div10. It will be hard if you play it late, because not many players stay at div10. This happened to me, bought xb1 in june, can find only an opponent in about 30minutes. Now in div3, much easier.

As long as you are at top div, you will face no problem i think.

Yes, that is unarguably right. What I meant is, it is significantly depends on what div you are in. It is better to start when many players in div10, which is right after the release. Just my two cents.

fifa 16 is quite ok to play casually at the moment.
mind you the online playing is a ghost town at least for pc port.

yeah its quite addictive, and by the way dont bother getting SE deluxe all those not very beneficial. there are 20 gold packs and stuff all those, yes its true, but you will only receive one pack per week which i find it useless

For FUT, xbox one has the biggest advantage in term of the price of players. You can compare it using http://www.futbin.com/ or http://www.futhead.com/. I heard that is because something got to do with the "Legends" cards exclusive.

Just realised that those who have ea access (xb1) or origin access (PC) can already play fifa17 trial which has full game features for 10 hours of play starting from 22nd.

I usually play single player FUT before go online. I found that the difficulty is not really consistent. Beginner and amateur in FIFA17 can sometimes be like world class in FIFA16, and sometimes easy. But still not easy like fifa16 where you can win 20-0. Is it only me or it happens to anyone else? First game I lost to beginner AI. Sad

They improved the difficulty sliders of the AI in this year. Each difficulties are very similar unlike the previous FIFA where World Class is the hardest to beat despite being "easier" than Legendary and Ultimate.

World Class in Fifa 17 plays better passing / shooting compared to Professional. They advance just like other difficulties unlike Fifa 16 where the World Class AI hold the ball like Ultimate but not attacking until they concede which is extremely frustrated when you needed a win.

That explains everything. I was too underestimate the low difficulty at the beginning. Indeed, you are right about the similarity between each difficulty, I tried world class in FIFA 17, not as hard as FIFA16's. However, when I got used to it, the lower difficulties are actually quite okay, but still hard to win with a very big goal margin.

Looking at the bright side, this is good for those who wants to start to play FIFA, they will not experience a significant difficulty change when they try to move to harder difficulty, like what happens in FIFA16 (huge difference between pro and world class).

Quite easy to find since everyone starting for lower division. Yet to meet any cheaters lol. Usually cheaters only appear at higher division.
