more likely that there was some kind of gas leaking or neighbours smoking strong stuff in the old building that you unknowingly 2nd hand smoke n got hallucinations. could even be a business in the area illegally burning toxins. or maybe even your drinks kena spiked. i highly doubt that there were supernatural forces at play.
