So far I have my eyes on Acer Aspire V Nitro Black Edition (i5 6300HQ  and a 960m RM3.4k) from Techhypermart. I heard it has below average battery life, can anyone give their opinion on the laptop or suggestions? Thank you.

what is the cheapest laptop with gtx1060?

Hi sifus, pretty much a noob so here goes!

Preferred brand: not really but atm much inclined to Asus
Budget: RM3k++++ (not final but should be around 3k territory)
Usage: Gaming, possibly coding in the near future, light video editing
Screen size: 14/15.6"
Others:
lightweight is a plus, not a must
Doesn't get too hot to the touch(place where you rest your palms and etc.)
SSD is preferred, or a combination with HDD? How does that work?
Keyboard with nice backlight

Did a little research, quite interested in the Asus rog gl5502 model but it is slightly over the budget, thoughts?

not many models with 1060 or above
the price...    
it remains even after new gpus released bcoz of weak RM....

i saw msi/alienware..but...
the price....roughly 6.5k+

after looking at dell's screen resolution, i notice most of the range are only (1366 x 768) instead of (1920 x 1080) ..
Just asking if this will really makes the display quality looks bad due to low resolution with (1366 x 768)?

Is it recommended to go for msi prestige? Because I'm not looking for a gaming laptop, just one that runs fast on cpu-intensive/disk-intensive software

1. Preferred Brand - Any
2. Budget - below RM4000
3. Usage - Microsoft Office, Chrome and gaming (Fallout 4,Overwatch,etc.)
4. Preferred - NVIDIA graphic card (or AMD is better?I don't know which one is good though), good battery life, less heat and noise.

3. Usage: Word Excel PowerPoint ,Photoshop, Unity Game Engine ,3ds Max(if Possible)

I do notice that laptop price had increased drastically..

7559 was just 3k+

now similar spec need 3.5k

a) at least 8GB RAM/upgradable ram
b) not easily overheat

i actually shortlisted acer aspire e5-575g (used to be i5-6200u and replaced recently with newer i5-7200u) because:
a) 3 years warranty
b) matt type screen (looks nice) but never use one before (please advise)
c) most value for money

used acer before and knowing that it is not well known for built quality, using asus now, more convincing based on my personal experience.

I've found Acer F15 F5-573-53AQ & Lenovo Ideapad 510

But Ideapad 510 read that battery life sux? But Acer built quality in doubt despite all the best specs, force you to buy the extended warranty?
