3. 14in screen or smaller, lightweight portable
4. Usage: surfing Web, word editing, YouTube video/movie watching

QUOTE(iZephere @ Sep 23 2016, 09:04 PM)
1) Total budget : RM7000 (can +/- RM200 if necessary)
2) Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications to your requirements for the money? Pick or include any that apply : I prefer a traditional notebook and good battery life I would expect around 2-3 hours since I am looking for a gaming laptop
3) How important is weight to you? : Less than 2.8kg. I just don't want it to be as heavy as my previous G55V.
4) Which OS do you require : Windows
5) Do you have a preferred screen size? : 15.6 inch / 15".
6) Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. : I am an engineering student so I will be mostly using AutoCAD on the go and want to play Battlefield 1 / DotA 2 at university
7) If you're gaming (leave blank if you put N/A above...), do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? : I want to play Battlefield 1 and latest Triple A games at least high/med settings at native resolution and DotA 2 at max settings.
8) Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable business grade build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? : I prefer a GTX1060 Laptop since it has more performance than the previous generation and not too picky about touchscreen, optical drive and other criteria. Just an easy-to-type laptop and able to run my engineering software smoothly

QUOTE(subrok007 @ Sep 25 2016, 02:17 PM)
Budget RM 8000. Purpose mainly gaming with FPS games

I been searching around. Basically very hard to choose.

MSI
1) GT62VR
2) GE62VR
3) GE62 2QF (GTX970M)

Asus
1) G752VM
2) any GTX 970m

Illegear
1) D5  (GTX 1060)
2) D7x (GTX 1060)

Very hard to choose in terms of design, spec, branding, warranty, future upgradeable, own software features like dragon center etc.

Side note - future upgradeable somehow quite arguing. I mean GPU often upgrade like desktop? Thinking whether want to buy mxm or soldered. Thats y illegear D series and MSI GT series in option.

So guys please recommend with honestly opinion

Thanks

Wait and see new coming Dell Alien ware 2016
Now aday no care mxm or not, as long the laptop have usb type c 3.1 gen 2 ( thunderbolt), can connect upgradable graphics card via docking
