Budget: RM9000 (yup, he don't want a PC, he want a laptop)
Purpose: Gaming
Preferred Brand: Alienware, but if there's a better one which is not Alienware he's still ok.

1. Preferred brand: Any brand worth the money.
2. Budget: 2k-2.2k can be extended if really worth it.
3. Usage: Engineering software
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 15.6 inch
5. Cooling is a must, being lightweight is a plus.

It can be good. Or another way round. 

If you can wait for the review, then it's better for you. It's always good to not rush to get a new laptop. 

hi looking for a laptop for my girlfriend.

c) want bigger memory (not ssd preferably)

Was actually eyeing the Acer R14, but because its 128 GB SSD, though faster, she doesn't really feel she needs the extra speed. unless it makes a huge diff then maybe but otherwise just something portable and....nice looking?

Is there any more option that doesn't have the built-in dvd. Would like to cut to weight. And have an extra RAM slot to upgrade to 8GB. Or other model that has 8GB RAM please? Sorry, friend just updated the spec he wants.
