So getting rx10 for extra 1k would be more cost effective instead of buying separates video camera since it does 4K.Less to carry for travel but hefty bulk to carry around rx10 doesn't have a flippable lcd for selfie mode , I'm wondering why most Are recommending the smaller camera ? My regret with the smaller camera was traveling to Switzerland and Queenstown Nz the smaller camera just couldn't capture the beauty.

Good composition but the img is a little smudgy to me cause of the noise reduction (or could be youtube display) and slightly overexpose on the neon signboard. And I believe the guy uses tripod to capture in low light (evidenced by the blur of moving objects).
However that's my personal opinion cause I like to pixel peep. If you think the pictures are good, then phone camera is really more than enough. Lugging around bulky dslr won't make your picture better if you primarily use "Auto" and don't take time and money to invest in lenses and post-processing.
there pictures were good for a camera capture, am looking for a bridge camera with good optics and good quality photos with consumer friendly shooting. think the sony rx10 ii fits the bill at the momment,a phone is still built as a phone.everything is a compromise, a camera phone is definately not a compromise i can live wit and i also understand now i my photography knowledge has to increase to be able to utilize the hardware even though its advertised a prosumer....
