QUOTE(sytians @ Jun 7 2016, 10:24 AM) i was reading about eating clean in the other thread and found your posts. It's because he doesn't even lift at all bruh. In case if you want to know dude stays skinny all year round. Talks highly about bodybuilding stuff but does he even lift? Bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh seems like you are watching what you eat as well. that makes me wonder why you dont see results? your expectation too high.. i am very worried i end up like you too! after so many hard work and result's still the same.. QUOTE(Armesh @ Jun 7 2016, 11:02 AM) My Program: http://hardset.meshsolutions.tech/program/25/ Such a fucking troll this guy 4 Days/Week. 2 minutes rest between all sets. Just get a part time trainer... Some have CPR cert some don't have, they charge a lot less than those commercial gyms... A few of my friends are doing it, actually 2 only haha, anyway they charge RM20&rm80/session...
IMO it's hard to find gym buddies online especially when you're picky.. cause I see most guys going either alone(dislike working out with people cause they get in the way) they usually just ask the gym staff or other gym users to spot them, and those that go with friends... It's easier to just make friends in the gym... At least you get to see how they train before you approach them, don't play phone/slack, not to hardcore(you may not be at his pace of weights) Conclusion, I think close friends are better working together at gyms, they'll know HOW to push each other, and not just verbally do it, it can get annoying having a guy that either requires you to push all the time, or having a prick telling you to keep going even if you're at your max for your pace.. |

i go to the gym alone, most of the time. i also wish to have gym partners, especially when u wanted to push, but most often u cant push too much because u dont hv gym partner to support/assist u when u fail the rep, and its dangerous, especially when doing bench press

QUOTE(helven @ Jun 8 2016, 02:47 PM) I don't work well with people at all hence i don't bother having gym buddies, sure when my friends ajak I would join, I personally just join their pace despite I having to die hard to catch up or getting bored... What I wrote is based on experience and advice from my friends... And my friends that talk to me about gym are the ones that usually go alone as well i do admit i have an ego but not in the gym Have you tried going to a gym with a friend that does 1 squat exercise, few curls, less than 30 minutes hes out, worse is if you guys car pooled... Well i had that incident, he dropped me home, i drop myself back to the gym and continued, it was a per entry gym but i just told the guys it was an emergency pooping situation QUOTE(sytians @ Jun 8 2016, 02:51 PM) honestly i agree with you. I myself don't really know what a trainer is suppose to do cause the last official trainer i had is when i started, yes the thought me the moves and making sure i had correct technique. As i progressed, i did a few months myself then now on-off I pay my friend to train me, cause i feel bad if he pushes me so much and i can't catch up to his pace(He benches 30kg/side while i do 15 only) It's a pain having to alter weights so often... close friends are better working together at gym, but with respective working life and interest, sometimes not easy to find also. i can find friends for yum cha, watch movies, but for gym....difficult. trainer just teach you the moves right? but i am thinking of looking for people to train together. at least can push each other... lol but like you said in your last sentence, it really is annoying sometimes when you are in those situations. In short, I think you also pay the trainer to push you to improve, at your max your form tends to be bad, he would ensure good form preventing injuries. You don't have to wait for your turn during an exercise cause it's all about you nor feel bad about resting too long. Oh yeah the trainer wouldn't give 2 shits on how you suffer cause you paid him to do so, no pain no gain, as long you have results and no injuries. Such as using a power rack for bench press, same range of motion, just that the bar wouldn't collapse on your chest... If not there's always dumb bell chest press |

What I wrote is based on experience and advice from my friends... And my friends that talk to me about gym are the ones that usually go alone as well I totally agree with you. I too don't work well with people simply because I don't want my friend to follow my workout without knowing the purpose of each exercise, so do I won't follow their routine that doesn't suit to my need / limitation. Everyone have their own pace, limitation, mobility issue. I also don't like to chat during workout or even during my rest period. I like to take the rest time to reevaluate the set I did previously, whether I'm in the right form, breathing technique, is the weight ok.i do admit i have an ego but not in the gym The ego I mean in my reply is I often see some newbie pushing their friend's weight they are not suppose to with wrong form. Worst thing is their "so called" gym buddy ignore the risk of injury and keep on saying "push push push or go home" QUOTE(FlamingASSH0LE @ Jun 8 2016, 05:27 PM) Have you tried going to a gym with a friend that does 1 squat exercise, few curls, less than 30 minutes hes out, worse is if you guys car pooled... the gym got pay per entry.. i paid 3month groupon promotion for body factory gym subscription coz it was cheaper.. i used to go around to try out the gym but not all gym has squat rack and allow deadlift.
night time is random & i train 3-4 times a week depend on day & program training is all about yourself, you has to make time yourself to train..having gym buddy does not mean he has to babysit or train the other.. so dont worry so much about timing & whatnot, just go to the gym and get started. you can even train 6 times a week, its just i dont have time & need some rest let me know if u want to train together |
