If you can afford a Samsung 850 Evo, might as well get the Hyper X Savage. The Kingston Hyper X Savage for 240GB is definitely below RM400. Benefits for Kingston : 1. Convergent as distributor is consider good for after sales service. 2. MLC Toshiba NAND vs TLC Samsung 3D V-NAND 3. Price so much cheaper.
I bought a 480GB version for RM590

QUOTE(lol4291 @ Jun 11 2016, 09:56 PM) I thought Samsung used MLC But why is it their TLC more expensive than MLC? It might be more practical to get the Hyper X Savage 480GB instead price/GB wise. Warranty is 3 years only compared to Samsung's 5 years right? Only the 850 Pro is MLC. 850 Evo is TLC . Y it is expensive ? 1. Samsung is using 3d v-nand for its 850 series compare to others still using 2d planar nand. 2. 5 years warranty 3. Samsung ssd has high popularity, thts y it is overpriced in m`sia. Overseas 850 Evo is actually one of those best buy bcoz it is very cheap compare to the rest.
